QUOTE(paqralos @ Sep 27 2016, 09:59 AM) Hi all, Anybody knows how the Cash installment plan works? If I apply for a installment for 12 months but I settle the cash advancement amount within 6 months is it possible or there will be penalty for early settlement? Thanks. as i know no penalty. u could call up CS for earlier settlement.

QUOTE(PeowYong @ Oct 10 2016, 06:13 PM) Saw this offer in HSBC website: Get up to rm15,000 at 0% interest with CIP for 15 months. Anyone using this offer and any comment on it? I felt weird regarding this offer where i can use it elsewhere to generate more income and paying back the bank without any interest incurred. yes im using it 0 % interest with CIP 15 months if u dont pay on time surely they have high rates interest charge on you depend on ur salary and ur credit card limit they approve it but not 100% 15,000. less than rm10000 or a few k This post has been edited by yeakyau: Oct 11 2016, 01:12 PM

QUOTE(laymank @ Oct 27 2016, 11:53 PM) i was quoting using my BT experience. For CIP, i have a feeling it might be the same algorithm, but you should clarify with the CS. They may not share this piece of information unless you ask them. For CIP is different. they still allow you to use the credit card.. =) due to the CIP not fully utilize your credit limit .

QUOTE(Nikmon @ Nov 1 2016, 02:43 PM) i'm interesting on the CIP too, is it confirm no hidden cost? could we cancel the card after 1 years but the CIP installment plan remain as 15 months? the promotion seem better than other BT. I asked CS before have to settle the CIP installment if not mistaken only can cancel your card. not sure have early settlement fees or penalty or not this have to clarify with hsbc cs

QUOTE(laymank @ Nov 2 2016, 04:08 PM) During the CIP tenure, did you use the credit card? if yes, does it incur finance charges? For CIP yes im still using =) no incur finance charges. FOr BT i no longer use the card just keep it or stored at drawer is dangerous while doing BT and still use the card .
