For the welcoming reward promotion. They said they would process after 6 weeks of fulfilling the spending requirements. Did you all get the reward automatically after that, or did you have to call the CS again?

QUOTE(iXora.ix @ Jul 14 2025, 04:05 PM) yep, full charge air ticket to the card then can entitle. mostly its just better to opt separate insurance. the cc provided is only backup in case like missing/late luggage or something2 if you have separate travel insurance, you dont need a backup, as missing/late luggage are all covered.

QUOTE(davidxxx @ Sep 2 2025, 07:14 PM) Thank you for the update mate. I will be surely will be canceling as i dont spend much on this card, Visa Signature. Just to ask you guys opinion, i say my service tax was charged in July2025. Which i think is my annual cycle month. So if i want to cancel, should i wait till next year June and cancel? Or i should just cancel now? What you guys think?

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 21 2025, 04:38 PM) Already paid SST then continue using for a year. Errmm...sounds right. Anyone using Amanah Premier World Master card? It seem a better option without annual fee for now.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 25 2025, 03:30 PM) For HSBC, I would say yes, cancel before AF is charged. Else the pain is never ending. ill cancel 2 months before AF is charged. lol

QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 21 2025, 12:12 PM) Mine was AF and SST, and I didn't spend on the card after these were charged, so I told them it makes no sense for me to pay for them before I cancel the card. I asked them back why I need to pay for something I no longer require. And I told them to give me an official reply, and if the response doesn't meet my expectations, I will escalate it to BNM. Did they reply you? I can anticipate similar treatment from them as i am expecting to cancel next year.
