I've checked with their CS, and I'm in the list. But yet to receive the call from their side to confirm on this and the address verification for phone courier.

Congrats bro! Hope I can get a call asap too..My case is rather complicated.. HSBC sent the card to a wrong mailing address last time,and they reissued a new card.. I checked with them, my replacement card was eligible to win the phone and in the list, but the first one, which didn't ever reach me is obviously not in the list. Fingers crossed..

I saw HSBC booth in Mid Valley and they approached me to upgrade from Amanah Visa Platinum to Visa Signature for free.

My Platinum card is now looked very worn out and buruk already. So want to ask, whether it is good for upgrade? The benefit AFAIK is not much on Signature, just PPL entrance. What about the reward points of Signature? Worthwhile or just a crappy marketing?

Also Platinum cashback now is not really attractive. Any advise from /k bros here whether to proceed?

For the AF part, I'm into my 3rd year with my HSBC mPower card now and so far no issues calling CS for waiver. My usage with this card is very minimal but I do used it >12 times a year.

No one is looking into the rm200 cb for Mega promotion?

The spend 500 gets 50 cb. Total cb cap rm200. Mega campaign something.

Yeah I can't deny that fact when dealing with hsbc. Unless someone has some plan to spend big.

Wondering about using posonline to pay Aeon cc for this. Seems like it falls on some grey area by reading the tnc even though it's an online transaction. But who knows hsbc tag it as utilities.

Couldn't agree more. Well I will just try my luck then since other cards' cb are maxed out already. Plus point is just I get to delay Aeon dues a bit.
