Similarities between Visa Signature and TravelOne MC:
- 8x points for foreign spending (online and retail)
- 6x Plaza Premium entry per calendar year
-

Differences between VS and TO:
- Income requirement: VS-RM72k; TO-RM60k
- Annual fee waiver condition: VS-12x swipe per calendar year and RM2k annual spending; TO-RM20k annual spending
- 5x points: VS-Eligible Retail MCCs and Online; TO-Dining and Local Travel (airlines, hotel, travel agency)
- Additional points capping: VS-max 15k additional points for all categories; TO- max 20k for foreign spending, max 10k each for dining and local travel
- Points redemption options: VS-vouchers and goods; TO-miles and hotel points

remains to be seen which is the better card, will depend on TO points redemption rate
*
VS easier to waive annual fee than TO. RM600 vs RM300 annual fee.

I see on iMoney, the service tax is monthly charge, is that true?

Since HSBC website didn't have any info about the annual fees and service tax
*
imoney got some details wrong. even the annual fee imoney said waived with rm2k spending and 12x swipe. which is wrong for t1 card

If I am not mistaken HSBC Singapore just launched this card. Maybe it will be launched in MY too?

HSBC is due to announce changes to the Advance Visa Plat card (diff from the existing silver Visa Plat card) tomorrow, not sure if this card will also be rebranded or it will be a brand new card coming soon

https://ringgitplus.com/en/blog/credit-card...redit-card.html

Looking at previous record with Travel One card, it is a possibility that it will be announced for MY too

Live+ already on HSBC MY website

the only good thing for this go called Live+ is
existing card holder can get RM150 acquisition cb.

deduct RM25 SST, still net cb RM125 provided you fulfilled the spending criteria
*
and apply before 31 july 2024 for lifetime annual fee waiver

2k annual spend as condition for AF waiver apart from min 1x swipe per month, but I don't know where to look for this criteria. Apparently that's what 3 out of 4 SC that talked to me mentioned this because I did 12 swipes but did not fulfil the min 2k spend.

Mine was Visa Plat I think but apparently applies to all HSBC including MPower according to the SC.

It's in the tariffs & charges pdf available on hsbc website. However, certain cards are excluded from this criteria
