Anyone knows if hsbc visa signature af is waived for new applicants? Want to max the cashback $400. Else I'll stick with the $250 & ringgit plus offer.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 18 2015, 01:52 PM) Aargh. I forgot about the AF, keep thinking it will be waived for first year. Thanks, fruitie. Can always depend on you on the latest cc application promos. When they call for verification, I will ask about this. If no waiver, then I will proceed. Btw, I'm not a "he". QUOTE(rapple @ Dec 18 2015, 01:53 PM) Not sure about AF. Hmm, I was hoping for both. But can you really get both the cash back and ringgit plus offer? [attachmentid=5564818] I guess if I have to choose then definately cash back. |

QUOTE(fly126 @ Aug 10 2016, 09:48 AM) Thanks.Looks confusing. But here's what I got: Eligible Cardholders must have an active deposit account, either a sole / joint savings or current account with HSBC or any other banking institutions licensed by Bank Negara Malaysia. The minimum amount for each CIP application is RM1,000 (“Minimum Prescribed Amount”) and the CIP Amount approved should not exceed 60% or RM10,000 of the newly approved credit limit of the Eligible Cardholder’s HSBC credit card account (“HSBC Credit Card Account”), whichever is lower. The eligible amount for the CIP, is subject to the approved Credit Limit of the Eligible Cardholder’s HSBC Credit Card account. vi. Eligible Cardholders who apply for a 2nd primary HSBC Credit Card/-i and the CIP offer under this Promotion will be charged a one-time CIP interest/management fee of 2% from the total CIP amount taken if they |

QUOTE(adele123 @ Aug 10 2016, 01:04 PM) The only catch I can think of is, no early settlement without a fee. Resulting I can't cancel the cc for free after 1 year if they charge annual fee. Ah, I see. Thanks for the input. I forgot about the AF.But regulars here mention annual fee is easily waivable. |

QUOTE(adele123 @ Aug 11 2016, 08:47 AM) you don't have to open hsbc account. Any savings account with any banks with malaysia will do. try re-read the t&c again. Ah, ok. I missed that.Anyway, i found the catch. they only give away 6280 of this 0% installment. not unlimited. I think the quota is still be ok if apply now. |

Happy New Year!
I applied the cc on 27/12 and got the approval sms on 31/12. Have to wait around 8 working days to get the card. Luckily, I checked my work email yesterday as I had to reply to hsbc. They emailed on 29/12 to reply them within 2 days. |
