Aug 14 - Applied Online
Aug 15 - Receive Call from CS. Provided personal info
Aug 21 - Receive SMS saying CC dispatched out
Aug 22 - Receive call from branch to collect CC
Aug 26 - Collected Card
Aug 26 - Top Up Big Pay
Aug 26 - SST Charged
Sep 03 - Credit Card Statement Received
Sep 13 - SST Waiver Received
Sep 20 - Lazada E-Voucher Received

Quite fast for me. Faster than the Citi snail voucher promo.

Called CS just now to see if they'll send me a new card with the new design. They say that they won't send me one and I have to use this till expiry.  cry.gif  Maybe will try my luck again when the card is out in Oct.
*
thats extremely fast lol. Seems like the voucher distribution is base on reversed order, the later you reload , the earlier you got the voucher bangwall.gif

Their fb comment said need to wait 4~8 weeks before we can get the voucher. Wondering why they are so slow and need to take so much time to process.
*
Its already 8 week since 1/8. In fact, many ppl in here already gotten their voucher even though they spend later than me lol
Really dont know what happen to them. Raise inquiry almost 1 week d the relevant dept still no reply mad.gif

For your information. RM500 voucher only for "new to bank customer". Which means u do not hold any of the cc from that bank or your last cancellation of cc is more than 3 months.

If you already have the hsbc cc prior in applying for the RM500 promo...you are not eligible to receive the voucher.
*
nah, checked with the sales person when applying the card already. HSBC i think is the only bank that so generous for existing cardholder. As long as the promotion you participated is more than 6 month then can apply for the promotion again.

After almost 2 weeks from my inquiry, HSBC finally come back to me saying that its mistake at their end as they somehow miss my name from the eligible list doh.gif

Bright side they request urgent release for the lazada voucher and i got it same day as they call me to feedback even though they say it could take up to 1 week.
Hopefully things like this wont happen again in future sweat.gif Luckily can make it before 11.11 come biggrin.gif

I am new HSBC amanah credit card owner and qualified for that rm25 tax rebate. When I received the statement and noticed there is overdue amount rm25, I thought I didn't need to pay it coz my agent told me that it is a rebate money. So I just ignore it until today I received again the email saying there is still overdue rm25, so I quickly asked the agent and he said I need to pay for it first then it will rebate afterwards.

Will there be a late payment record in my account? I am worrying the late payment record will influence the success rate of my housing loan application in future. Can I ask my agent to call to the customer service there to ask them to delete the late record and waive the late interest charged fees?
*
How long already it passed ur statement due date? If too long like more than few days i think there will be late payment record in ur ccris report that gonna last for 12 month. You might need to check ur ccris report for more details.

Interest and late payment fees i think no harm to try call cs to waive.I think its always better to pay ur statement in FULL no matter which bank, dont try to save the tiny money and cause more loss on unnecessary charges lol

For Visa Signature, I had tested on e-wallet below so far earn 5x point (not cashback) as it's fall under Online.
However, u can redeem point to cashback.

- BigPay
- ShopeePay
- KiplePay
- Boost
- Lazada Wallet
*
surprise that bigpay still under online biggrin.gif since the tnc mentioned no point earned when reload to ewallet that allow you to transfer out to bank lol

Hsbc now so strict sad.gif
dont allow u to cancel the card even tho only have af in it.
Cs insist that need to settle the full card balance then only can raise cancellation request.
Luckily have another card with 0 balance then only can get the chance talk to the retrention team bangwall.gif

You mean you need to pay AF then allow you to cancel?
*
Yup. Same goes for SST. They force u to pay even tho you didnt use the card ever since SST is charged when you trying to cancel the card.

This is absurd. So it’s advisable to cancel before they charge?
*
Yup. If no plan to keep the card better cancel before anything is charged.
