I wonder do the existing gold Mpower card holder need to wait for the new upgraded Mpower platinum card arrive to enjoy the up 8% cash back on groceries & petrol? I notice in the system , the same card number already upgraded to platinum Mpower card...

The latest new applicant offer is quite interesting, with sign up offer (with condition) and also the swipe more feature.

errm, this offer also for existing card. i think it is too late to apply now and it will take time to get the card to spend.
It will be rather good for existing card.

2The maximum Cash Back that a primary Eligible Cardholder can receive is RM25 Cash Back per Participating Week, capped at RM150 throughout the Promotion Period

also will be end by 30 april 2016.

Anyone already receive HSBC AEON 8% CASH BACK PROMOTION (spent at least RM250 in single receipt) for January 2015?

are they going to upgrade all existing HSBC Amanah MPower Visa Credit Card-i (Gold) to the new HSBC Amanah MPower Visa Platinum Credit Card-i ?

Yes. But not sure whether will entitle for the platinum benefit of to 8% cashback on petrol & grocery during the transition period.

Answer should be yes to both. My gold card is now showing as platinum type in my latest statement and expected cashback was awarded.

HSBC Customer Service number is 1300 80 2626?
Called 10 times also it says their call volume is high.... doh.gif

8 min still consider long.. If really got fault case mean gone case.. That's y I cancelled my card.. The CS said someone will call back to confirm cancellation, 2 days ago, until today no call.

HSBC CS is famous for long waiting time. Sometimes, when we call at wrong hour, might need to wait for 30+ mins. that is the main drawback for HSBC. Everyone know that. They themself also know that.
