i have a platinum card now for rewards pts. may i know if the add another visa signature pts can be combined with in total pts redemption or is separated?

so, status reporting. i guess i was not lucky enough, and i was not keen on pushing it much...

i did it on chat to ask for offset of service tax. hsbc did not to offer me offset via spend RMX 3 times, instead asked me to use 8000 of my points to offset.

since i was abit lazy to request direct offset offer like i had last year and also many here who shared, i just agreed to it... i'm actually ok with it. i might keep for a short while and cancel eventually before next year. not a card i want to keep for long anyway.

for those using applepay or googlepay for hsbc cc. You will only get 1x point. even you are suppose to get 8x - oversea, 5x online spend or 5x shopping.
Please take note. In another word, applepay/ googlepay is useless as only get 1x.
i just had an arguement with cs . Even i spend on retail shopping, suppose to get 5x but due to i make a mistake by paying using applepay.

I use Premier Travel, checked T&C and points rewarded, no difference paying with applepay

Those additional points will be given at the end of the billing cycle.

Your card scores air miles, unlike the other cards that gets points. Those getting points will get only one point immediately, the other multiple points will only be awarded at the end of the billing cycle based on the set limitations and capping.

well i already got statement and end of billing cycle. I 've spend 1k on retail shop and pay using applepay. Statement showed only 1k point but no bonus point.

MMC code is verified it is retail and entitled for 5x but due to payment used. (refer my above screenshot).

that's what the end result told by cs. They advise me dont use apple pay as dont count as 5x shopping or 5x online shopping. It count as 1x as other.
final conclusion is coz i use applepay. lesson learned - must use physical card on retail shop. Use latest technology but get low benefit.

I was surprise. Today suddenly i've decided to check my point on statement received. Not many transactions that why easy to calculate

I think you could be right. I read back the wordings used.
For the signature it says shopping. I was reading earlier on the premier Mastercard. It says contactless usage.
I learned something new today. I also have the signature card.

I use my HSBC to order McDonalds via app cos the code easier steps than other cards

Hey guys, received my mpower card last week. I didnt have any hsbc saving account. How do you make payment from another bank. As for now, im transferring from cimb to hsbc account via card credit payment but the it just show ccrp ebb and pending. Its been 2 days already

i hit same problem on ambank, rhb and sc. After few month, still did not get the gift.

all these while they are like this.
that's why i never bothered to join their cashback campaign at all.
never gotten any cashback.

got once i am frustrated and report to their cust resolution team, after a while they only check and credit back the missing cash back to me and say they accidentally excluded my transaction for cash back, they stating they had fixed their so called system for cashback.

after that i decide to giv a 2nd try, and never receive any cash back again.

unlike Public bank, so far they r the best, you really can get cashback when you join their cb campaign based on the t&c.

The next time they call, just tell them you dont want to receive such calls anymore. I did it about 2 weeks ago, not sure it works, but should benefit you.

I think among the few credit cards i have, hsbc indeed has been calling more often. Even compared to other cards i had in the past, it's abit absurd.
