It may work on 6.0 or less but I only found out about it in 7.0
1. Open a .PDF
2. ctrl+shift+b to hear the entire document
3. ctrl+shift+v to hear the current page
4. ctrl+shift+e to stop

If you have Adobe Reader 7.0 or higher you can activate its text-to-speech funtion.
