Guys, what do you think if bought a new or 2nd set got difference in a performance but in meanwhile price different so big like example :-

New market ampilifer 4 channel = RM1.6k
2nd hand same item = RM400

When asking some shop said take a new set even they're got sell a 2nd hand set.

Let's discuss guys..

I'm want to journey with ICE but of course money is limited.. cry.gif

my experience on my 2nd hand amp..
brought it at RM500 .. first week serve me well ..
then 2nd week start the issue .. the volume suddenly so loud (like not consistence) ..
then take back to the shop .. luckily the boss take back and i top up to new amp..

sometime depend on luck ..
after that i prefer new thing .. avoid problem free and warranty covered..

Normally 2nd for good quality stuff is ok, but not for chap ayam stuff. Unless maybe its less than 6mth old. Basically you get what you pay for.

I havent bought any new amps... except for 1 sony 2ch amp... but that was because it comes bundled with the component set... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

as Krayden had mention... 2nd hand stuff are ok... provided you check thoroughly... having your trusted installer to check for you would be better as well...

or... like what I always do... buy from someone i know... not random...

the price difference is big because its not a well known brand or considered as high quality product. usually 2nd hand is half price of new, but depending on age and condition, can also be 1/3 new price.

buying 2nd hand high quality products is recommended if you dont have the budget. its better than buying something new but low end. usually high quality 2nd hand products will last longer than new but cheap products due to quality of internal components and quality of the build.
