I just went to OCBC Cheras branch to place the 4.2%/12m fd. Haha indeed many lengluis work in OCBC. I show them the ringgitplus message about the free luggage upon doing the fd. Then I ask the leng lui personal banker, can I entitle for both the luggage and the angpows. Unfortunately she said they will only pick either one. So if you receive the luggage bag you will not win the angpaos.

I just went to SC Connaught branch to do the FD 4.5% 15months. The guy told me that they will only credit the interest upon maturity. Is it true for the latest deposit that we made?

QUOTE(okuribito @ Mar 24 2015, 06:06 PM) go back to the branch and ask the fella for a hard copy of the terms and conditions for this campaign. compare with what i wrote in this earlier post >> https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=73502002 But mine is from saadiq branch, so will the term be different? if same, show to the branch mgr ... let us know what he said. keep hardcopy for future reference And I just receive a message from them stating this: QUOTE RM0.00 StanChart: As per agreed T&C, We as your agent hv purchased RMxx,000.00 of Plastic Resin for Term Deposit-i at RMxx,000.00 per Tonne. Then I quickly call up the call center, and the guy told me not to worry about it, it was just a procedure as mine is under Islamic. Do you all receive this message as well when you sign up for 4.5% 15m? |

Valid until quota finish. Those interest go check with Maybank. As usual updated my FD Page. Post#1 I will revamp come April Fool's Day which is a working day, hmmmmm Maybank 6 Months 4.13% is even better than UOB 6 Months 4.05% Special School Promo. Last year, we will be happy if can get above 4 for 12 months. Nowadays, 6 months FD tenure also can get above 4%. At this rate, we can expect more banks to offer 3 months FD above 4%. However, they told me they having this promotion for 3 months at 3.88%. |
