Withdrew matured FD from HLB, which charged me RM5.65 for banker's cheque. Place it at SCB FD 9 months @ 4.25% today. Last day for this promo. Collected some nice Ang Pows packets

Joined HL PB to enjoy RM0.15 fee for banker's cheque (now RM 0.65 ?).

In Affin Bank today and got decent Ang Pow packet. Looks better than Citigold Ang Pow packet. biggrin.gif

hi may i know. if u have 100k cash now
which option u choose since now all the bank give high FD rate.

will u put in your home loan account which is BLR-2.3 = 4.3%
or will u put in FD account

You do not need to wait till retirement....You can withdraw your account 2 at the age 50....or withdraw to pay for housing loan... See following link..

UNBEATABLE short term from CIMB Preferred, min 100K. I mean short term as in 1/2/3 months. Other tenures are negligible tongue.gif

Most of the current promos are on first page. Besides, you need to define what is short term to you. To some, 6-9 months also considered short term. If you're looking for 1-3 months, as someone posted, CIMB looks good.
