Hello Lowyat community, I'm a person who resides in Canada, and I've decided to come back to this hobby after a very lengthy hiaturs (almost 17 years). During this time, I've been building Gunpla (scratch building, modding them too), so I guess I could say I"m not exactly a beginner in modding. I got a few questions I would like to ask if possible.

1. Is there any point to getting the Avante MK.III Nero Stargek 10th anniversary edition? I know ones like the HEat green MA version gives you the tires that are pretty expensive, but does this one give anything special?

2. This is a long term goal, I've been watching alot of videos on mini 4wd races and such, and it seems like there are 3 main types of races/courses: Technical, speed, and a mix of both, and subcategories (like best timing, endurance, Knockout etc). If I was to, for each type of chassis, create 1 for each category (or 2, since sometimes you could use 1 car for different type of races), how many of each chassis would I need? I currently own, including my huge old collections, pretty much 5 of each chassis, including some of the new types that I bought when I did it just for collecting. THe ones I have right now are

AR x5
Super II x4
MS x4
Super TZ-X x6
Super X x3
MA x5
Super FM x6
Super XX x4
VS x5
Old FM (3 of these)

Hopefully I don't take too much of your time, and I hope to enjoy building these and possibly racing these (mini 4wd not too popular in Canada though ). Thanks for your time in reading this!

Thanks for the response AF21, but I would like to for each type of chassis create one of each for the different type of races there are, so would that mean, from what i've read, I need 3-5 for each chassis?

Oh yeah definately, I plan to start with MA cause Mad Tang says that's the easiest first, then move to harder ones. Tuning all of them is definately a long term goal. Btw in the meantime, I hope this is allowed, but is there any way to get the XX EVO chassis and VS chassis for like release price and ship to Canada? Certain sites are selling it for like 100 bucks USD

Hey guys, just got another question. Looking to buy Super XX chassis models, I currently have the normal ones available like the knuckle breakers and rising trigger and phantom black. I'm looking at a limited edition called the Cross Tiger VR blue special. Is there any worth of that kit that makes it worth buying? Or is it just with a special blue cover?

Ah okay, I thought to, well I think it's too expensive at 70 bucks, guess I'll have to just wait for another of them in the future.

True, but like you said, i rather get the XX chassis, 70 bucks for just a bigger tire :/ Can't those tires be also bought separately as an upgrade part? different color but similar purpose isn't it?

Got a question, when's the tamiya korea 20th anniversary super avante 92306 being released? Or is it limited to Korea only?

btw since I'm on this topic, as I'm out of this hobby for awhile, how do I know if a limited edition is worth getting or not? Like I'm planning to get the Avante MK.II pink version, and the aero avante Violet Version, those seems like worth it for the tires. but the Astralster only seems like to have a new cover. How about the Savanna Leo Black special? Any advice is appreciated.

Gotcha, I will skip it. I usually don't get limited stuff unless it has something that usually can't get (cowl not included cause I airbrush alot) How about the Astute RS?

it's discontinued on hlj, hence why I went to Amazon. Ebay guys are selling it for like 60 bucks CAD
