For me, I change to macrolynx and solved problem with streamyx shaping stuff. Also my cyberjaya line is giving me 10mbit upload and download. so no issues with tmnet. 5 minutes only to download 40 minutes series. Suggest u guys get other provider if availble in your areas. i think my provider is using time backbone.

hahhaa..10 mbit??sure jealous....btw...i hav one q here...
@epul
do u mean that i have to change from router mode to bridge mode to experience tuotu unthorrotled speed?
what do u think other forumers?
does it really effect?

Changes to router no effect one. Change provider maybe or use socks server as mentioned by someone will definitely work. Been doing some socks servers stuff with my utorrent and it does work. Now can get 100+KB on streamyx.

oh thanks.... But i cant use Toutu in office .. been trying with tunnelling service also cant work .Wondering what they did with the firewall. I try secure IX and secure tunnel , it works but when i use http-tunnel sad.gif only messenger can work that is also intermittent connection. Sigh. thanks virtual.

usually a good network admin will block all udp connections. firewall logically will not block outgoing port only incoming. torrent works good if u portforward which is incoming ports. anyway without port forward also can get good speed 100+ if just want to download.

I'd set a socks server and did some testing in downloading torrents for the last one week. it rocks. how much are you guys willing to pay? available only 14 -16 hours daily and u can easily get max speed.
any takers?

from 10am-3pm need to use full bandwidth to download and increase ratio la brader. peak hours for new episodes. Mine is 15mbits dl and 10mbits ul so will be using them to increase ratio. anyway if not much takers, then i can on the proxy for 24 hours.

There ARE other providers than TMNET with better service and speed. I'm using HomePNA type broadband at home that don't even require telephone line and no throttling. for phone use skype or mobile phone, no more tm.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
For free socks proxy, visit and try out any of the proxy here.

Try socks 4 or 5 in your torrent setup. You might get lucky and bypass tm cut throat policy.

What is this HomePNA method? I checked their website, but I dont get it.

HomePNA is a small box that acts similar to a broadband router but relies its signal from any normal wiring. It doesnt rely on phone line, any normal wiring will do. Macrolynx website maybe able to give some more info on that.
