That should give you back some speed.

TODAY - I'm runnign at full BT speed. 50KBs on a 512 pkg.

I totally second setup a local server, donations of cash/time/equipment will be the way to go. a BT-cooped

did some testing today an noticed something really curious, i hope your comments will help all those out there sranded in slow dl.


1mb packedge form ampang
DL az with rc4, no changes to settings.


Two modems:
aztech 300e - max 800kB connection, around 500KB normaly
DL slow slow slows average 5KB/s

TM db102 dsl+ - connected at 1200KB and more..
DL at full speed (40KB++)

Why? or better even how?

No hard tricks used, no custom setups, settings for modems right our fo the box (hard reset).

i will keep on diging but .... i manage to screw the tm modemand it wont work now..any help?
