QUOTE Bulldog is one ISP which does not feel the need to traffic shape its data flow. The company's Gavin Young says this is because there are different types of ISPs.
He told Click: "Some ISPs are what we call infrastructure-based, and that means they build their own networks.
how i wish we have a company like that in Malaysia dream on......

QUOTE(excit3 @ Nov 16 2006, 06:23 AM) Any BT program with DHT seems to work best. I just used the MaxTCP EventID 4226 patch to 1000 and then let this baby connect to as many peers as possible. Yupp, its still throttled internationally, but then I still get my 150KB/s max speeds because of many many slow peers! It sorta is a temporary fix. And so far, I've been downloading quite a lot of shyt! that gonna hurt your router badly bro

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Nov 17 2006, 04:55 PM) Unfortunately Malaysian and Singaporean mentality is like this. What to do ;; Everyone wants to pass the buck and get a freebie without contributing back :[ with streamyx provided this kind of service... i see no point of becoming seeder after you have finish your download...it will just cripple the whole connection of yours.

the imej above...by using BitComet 0.80...oversea peer manage to bypass and transfer speed to me as the above show, happen for quite some torrent liao with hardly any local peer around, take note i didn't enable protocol encrytion. you guys should try this version,i think is way much better then 0.70 as the TCP connection is not much use (so it won't overload your router therefore lead it to hang) but the negative impact is the CPU usage is super duper relative high (2 torrent running only can reach till 90k) This post has been edited by wengjoe: Dec 24 2006, 11:42 AM
