personal recommend 195/55r15

If u dun wan to impact ur fc, better stick to 15. Anything above ll hav a huge change on ur fc.

I'm thinking to go with this, will it looks not so nice with the rim outlook? 50 better? Any difference?

I know that the price of 15" and 16" tyre have much difference... Besides, the fc may vary as well... Would like to know how much is the difference?

55 i feel more comfy than 50 ..
50 i feel handling better than 55 ..

I m currently using 195/55/15 tyres for my myvi.. before this, I used 195/50/15..

50 looks nicer as not so fat.. I use 55 now as no more stock for 50 series..

55 is slightly more comfortable.. 50 slightly better in cornering..

Price difference a bit only.. less than 5 ringgit per tyre.. 50 cheaper than 55

i think 50 or 55 series its depend on what tyre u choose.. if like PS3 the sidewall really soft, so not suitable with aggressive driving style..
if u dont think too much about comfy just use 50 series..

My driving style is quite rough... and changing lane frequently...

especially when u changing lane at high speed.. if 55 series maybe u can feel a bit wobble compare 50 series if both is same brand tyre..

50 series to get better steering respond, 55 series for a bit comfy.. so if u aggressive go for 50 series..

pointless if u go for cheapass tires... sticking to ur current stock wheels with higher performance tires will yield better results.

id recommend 195/55....best all rounder... u get decent handling and comfort... even some track cars run this size...


but as i mentioned above... upgrade to bigger wheels but put goodyear NCT5 really for what u wanted.... best to budget a minimum of RM250/tire for a decent performing tire...

True, tyres r important..!! Goodyear NCT 5 is damn lousy! Used it as my stock tyres for both my Myvi n City

depend on ur budget.. for lowest budget is ATR Sport 2

My vios with ori rim 14 inch 185 can run to 460km per full tank.
i change 16 inch low profile 205 tyre only can run 310km per full tank. Same driving style. Mainly city drive.

i personally tried 195/55/15 and 195/50/15
i felt 50s is better as im lowered my ride. you may try to pair it with yokohama s drive as i heard its good enough
P.S: i using hankook ventus v12 195/50/15 naw

Just take PS3 price, 205/45/16 is almost double of 195/55/15. 205/45/16 is consider the odd size, not everyshop carry it and you will have limited choice to choose, while 195/55/15 is very common.

55 & 50 is alot different. i give you example.

profile 55 : after changed rims and tyre your car height will be raised slightly and when you driving your body roll will increase and the feel is like... ermm.. a "mini suv"

profile 50 : after changed rims and tyre your car height will be almost the same and the rims + tyre size would be 1.xx% smaller size than original.

and of course grip would be higher for both
