Hello everyone.

My cousin will be studying at UPM next year and I'm wondering if anyone here can help pointing out some available units or good areas for rent and live in. Budget is about RM1k a month. I want somewhere where everyone regardless of their race and nationality lives together. This is my priority.

If the place is 5-10 min walking distance to a train station (KTM or monorail) and has everything like restaurants, grocery shop, malls, etc nearby, these will be a plus point. If it's in other areas like Puchong or PJ or anywhere within the 15-minutes range, I will still consider. Agents are welcomed to contact me. Thank you.

study at UPM no need to stay outside... 1st year stay inside 1... so after 1 year u can move him/her to near by condo.. Univ 360, diamond square, south city this three is the latest addition.. shoul be up and ready by next year..

UPM 1st year student compulsory stay in hostel

there are canteen in the campus

free shutter bus to KTM serdang on hourly basis

the mines is just 10 minutes walk away from KTM serdang

puncak jalil, lestari perdana and equine park (if you opt for landed house) is roughly 6 to 12KM away from campus main entrance

and there are abundance of low cost flat outside the campus

taman seri serdang/kembangsari/seri kembangan are the top places for students to live in. and they range from 100-300 per month.

1k will get you the serviced apartments near Mines seri kembangan...but it's mostly populated with foreign students.

Last time I used to stay above the kopitiam in Sri Serdang. Good old days. Dota with housemates sampai pagi no problem. Now work late a bit ady kepala pening mata kabur.
