Based on RTZ and zai's stream at their in house league, RTZ have been spamming lots of safelane while zai is spamming offlane heroes.

not really, there's a possibility that your unranked mmr is higher than 3.4k which might be 3.6k -3.7k which explains the very high rating on dotabuff.

from what I understand, there was a 1 week period before last week ( during my exam week, so i didnt know about the change) that valve implemented the ranked ap style ( choose 1 by 1 ) in normal pub match making.

I personally think that should stay. Why complain about wasting 5 min to pick properly and possibly have a enjoyable game? do you rather risk wasting 30-1 hour of your time due to a one sided draft or a potato line up?

I agree with what you say. ranked ap style won't guarantee us not to have potato line ups. And i also agree with what you say about the whole idea of ranked and its flaws and also to last pick if you care about team composition.

However, its almost 95% guaranteed in sea that you can just simply first pick support and the others will happily pick their core hero. While if you first pick a core hero, it doesn't guarantee the others will pick a support.

Anyway, if valve can implement a perfect match making system, I'm sure dota2's user base will improve alot. however, that also depends on the player's/community's mentality. They need to know that kill's aren't everything. They should know how to play supportive role. Besides, the flaming/ trash talking/ throwing needs to go if we plan to have a better dota environment.

i think if you can get agh and blink is considered quite luxury on cm edi. Either it means you were given the space to farm or your team is leading ahead by that much or it dragged till quite late game.

I saw one cm and dazzle combo quite nice.

Cm got caught out,around 1v3 or 1v4 but she have bkb. She on bkb and ulti while the rest of us straight tp in or move in for the team fight. Once our dazzle tp in, he clutch grave the cm. With bkb, the enemy can't stun, with shallow grave, the enemy core can't kill her and ended up with multi kill there and won the team fight.

Btw, anyone wana play with me? Would appreciate it if people can give me some advise on which part to improve. Calibrated my party mmr at 3.2k. Since then, never won a match in mmr, dropped to 3091 mmr. :/

No problem, i hate those the most too actually. Normally i try to help everyone and i want to create a good environment in dota and just want to enjoy the game.

On a side note, i also want to improve myself. I think i never troll or flame purposely, only time when i trash talk is when opponent trash talk us after taking racks.After me and my friends made a come back. then we say back the words that they mentioned to us. That ought to teach them a lesson not to trash talk.

There was once i saw a jugg trying to go full maelstorm like the one shown in youtube. he did 3 maelstorm and then changed item build halfway through cause the game looks dangerous and we might lose. ( We were ahead a little when he decided to go maelstorm build )

And there's nothing wrong to have 2.3k mmr, you don't need to die if you have a low mmr rating. Just shows that there are room for improvement. Besides, it's just numbers.

Hmm, not quite sure how should i improve.. 3.1k mmr, sometimes play okok, sometimes alot of mistakes and got steam rolled by opponent. Today played 2 matches after 1 week didn't play and i got steam rolled in both matches.

First match, my team got weaver, ns, life stealer, bloodseeker and me ( aa ). weaver, ns bot, i mid, lifestealer jungle and bloodseeker top. ( play on dire ) Game is lost when a support go mid? :/
Not to mention opponent use axe and dazzle to creep skip. lifestealer and weaver get midas 1st item.

Feel like i should try to improve mechanically and play some core heros and not support anymore. :/

Somehow i have a feeling that midas cm was from the era when the gold gain just increased. forgot which patch version was it but at that time, almost every game sure have a midas. It was right after the gold gain per second buff and before midas nerf.

finding match> finding server>finding match>finding server> then suddenly cancelled match finding.

I think valve just ddos their own server with this event.

This year's year beast is too damn smart. It escaped so easily.

Another ddos attack incoming in 58 minutes.
