I always prefer underdog heroes, but they seem to somehow become meta. Last time it was Jugg, and now probably going to be CM.

Question: What does Arcana set means? why is it considered different with any other heroes sets?

To you question about arcana:

PA: Change the whole model with universe kind of body, and twin blade (why not?! more power)
TB: Change to Destroyer from Thor, and can add custom color you wan, which cost a fortune.
LC: Twin blade (like i say, 2 sword = more power), sexy voice change, and epic body glow like you are in fire.
Lina: OMG, me head on fire, Im FIRED, everything gonna burn!! (something like that)
Techies: omg, pig bomb, only pig step on it, if you get kill by the mine you are pig or sort.
SF: Im on fire!! Hell burns everything! nuff said!

Conclusion for why arcana cost more:
Epic model change, Epic particle, Epic Weapon, Epic Custom Skill Icon, Epic Custom Animation, Epic Voice, and Epic Money earned by Volvo. So its a win-win, we love to buy it, volvo earn it.

Don't tell me how good is techies or how strong he is, I only know that I will only have 10% of win rate whenever my team has a techies. Perhaps it's a strong hero, but most of the people don't really know how to use it.

One of the new ways to play cm right now is go jungle with frostbite. Other than that i don't see any new popular play style for her.

When going in to late game cm starts losing her usefulness. If wanna have high impact late game you need to land some sick ultis. Compare to like ogre magi , at least he can buff his carries with bloodlust. Landing some sick ding ding dings might need some luck also, but ignite skill can spread to enemies even if they are in fog which is nice vs some blink heroes.

Arcana: Valve-only exclusive official item (used to be got valve-common item in early beta stage) but now is almost all immortal or arcana rarity item will be produce from them.

what arcana function is changing the visuals of the normal hero looks, hence it is cost you 39.90 usd if not mistaken

it is fairly good in early game to constrain people to gank farmer because no one know him in early game if he didn't stay in a fixed lane (in pub), and force support buy more sentries to make safe path, so basically you secure the rune spot if opposite got 3 melee-agi heroes. they sure don't dare to roam around to gank.

i've been face few times a good opposite techies too, he can harrast my melee carry just like that.

talk about ogre, i play max ignite first haha, stun only up 1 level to scare people off, also due to short cast range i don't really like to use it early game... 2nd thing is bloodlust i up 1 level before level 6 just in case i got lane-mate that is can kill enemy in early stage like jug. so i can cast on him to run faster to finish off opponent

duno why i've been facing a lot lach of MS in most of the game so that's why i up 1 level of bloodlust for that

So Arcana is premium set with exclusive Valve only creation that comes with unique modifiers like skill effects, animation effects, icons, etc. Thanks for the very good explanation.

But PA Arcana just came out about two months ago. And I imagine the New Bloom event is to coincide with Chinese New Year occasion which is sometime next week. Quite fast Valve coming out with another Arcana set don't you think? But then again, where there is Valve, there's always money to be made.

CM is an all rounded support, but she can be what we call the best 4th position support, she can baby sit, she can farm forest, she can gank, and when a support can farm forest, mean u get more farm then enemy support, you get ahead of other, get sentry, ward, counter ward, constant pressure the map with ur presence.

From my experience, CM work well with most of the hero, especially nuker who constantly need mana, and combo with carry to kill in lane.

Imagine all hero have arcana, RM100 each x 108 hero, GG player wallet, WP to valve.

you know monthly rent game server is how much?

Better if we dont know.

Our job as a player: Complain everything.

I seem to be doing pretty well on Techies.

IMO its more like your own team don't know how to play with techies.

countless times my teammate play aggressive and rush to enemy,my bombs can't move la dei

but if against pro,techie seems a bit hard...
its quite easy to counter techie actually

still can la, if they keep gank then you drop some mines at retreat route or just go other free lane level first, level till level 6 then put remote mines
or just sit there and push tower and setup some mines and wait some hero target you and fall into trap.

yes, that's why early i stated i will pick last and i will pick techies when got 3 weak enemy melee heroes .. then that farker straight pick techies in my previous rant post..

but overall in d2,techie seems to be harder ,
in d1,less ppl get wards or sentries in pubs...now...everywhere warded lol
