quote from their website
LAN Finals
The biggest Dota 2 event ever held in South East Asia will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in March 2015. All our qualified teams will get an all-expenses paid trip to take part in what will be a new chapter in the South East Asian professional gaming scene and a shot at the $100,000 prize pool.

Sauce

All expenses...and the base prize pool itself, makes people suspicious about this tournament...

oh well if it did happen I will buy a ticket to watch the LAN Finals tongue.gif

I just did a background check. It's being run by a local marketing & advertising guy. Based on his working experience, he probably has the connections to pool together the resources to run this.

Looks legit, but at the end of the day the true test is the winners being paid. I say if entrance is either free or cheap, go ahead and join up.

I do expect some issues. Understand that it's being organized by people from a marketing background with no prior experience hosting a tournament at this scale.

ATM, they've not announced their complete list of sponsors. If one of their sponsors is an online broadcaster, then you'll probably see quality streams.

If they can land BTS it'd be great. Things aren't so straightforward though, you can ask hard2k if you want insight on how much work needs to be put in to organize a professional tournament, not to mention how much can go wrong.
