U guys are playing on IXDL? What are the requirements?

So much hype for SumaiL, the 15 y/o DOTO kid but still GG WP to LV.Gaming! His still subpar compared lots of "hyped" Malaysian gamers in the scene. Seriously, he is fine for his age.



Talk about leagues, I joined ADC/AGL/ADL with pros before. Win rate is like 4:6 but still grateful as I don't spend 24/7...

Oops speaking of IXDL? It's deserted since 2013 due to mismanagement and lack of pro players with achieving scene grabs. I mean as in winning few titles. Lots of veterans in Malaysia I known didn't even played more than a week, I took one day to conclude it failed.

Best moment was RGC's AGL 90% pros 10% noobs(some are vouched by "friendship" and "corruption"). Other than that, all is good. Able to win several games from Nirvana.MY / Gizmo and etc mixed players in the league. Grabbing RM500 in amateur tours against some pro mix is quite cool.

Don't even bother signing up, it's chock full of bad players. You're much better off in regular matchmaking.

Haven't try IXDL. Read some comments bout IXDL at Reddit. They are trying to revive SEA IXDL.

IIRC, the open category (IXDL-O) has no requirements. The invite-only category (IXDL-I) was decent, but it went defunct soon after it launched as many pros abandoned it.

No requirement bah just register then can edi, the peak ytd was 40++ player iirc, player wise the match i played was okay, not much flaming going on, only 1 player flame me for not playing that well >.<

Never join IXDL la. If you know the scene or you can "feel" about it, better step aside. Play normal pub match more exciting IMO than those "half-assed" players there... You can called as handicap.

IXDL management also very inactive. I don't see much about it nor helping NA scene as well.

IMO, people around 2008-2011 did the most out of those pro league and only above decent can join. If you aren't vouched, it means your not enough. They will have few pro panels. But sadly, some of them are "useless" vouchers.

Casual players can grow better by the public matchmaking. Believe me, there's a lot of good or bad players. But generally from there, you can start playing MMR / Pub switch.

Don't be obsessed with MMR. It's literally crap. A lot of pros in my network agrees with that.

MMR is just how tryhard you are to reach that number. No real bragging right IMO... Best is you proof your capability in pub / MMR mix... And lastly, have fun and don't take things too hard. Improvement is on it's way!

Yeah man, I played with 4k range players and they play like 3k or even worse. Last pick no support, even supports also play like carry. When a supporter lanes with a carry, the supporter won't give all the creeps to the carry and talk back to the carry "your last hit noob". Anyway, MMR is nothing, sometimes.

dont see how is that a problem should you miss your last hit and the next ally creep damage will kill of the enemy creep anyway.

might as well let the support end some gold for wards.

Ignore some words. Flaming will bore out to some. Just play whether it's a win or lose.

That is the solution to playing DOTO. But we play with different age , types , behavior of people. So deal things your way sometimes. As long it's just a GAME afterall. Cheers!
