Photography Legal location to shoot KL city skyline, Include KLCC and KL Tower

Hi All photog,

I'm a newbie in photography.
Would like to shoot dawn and dusk of KL city skyline?
Any location/place that can be enter without problem to take a shot of the KL city skyline??

Sharing of location is million appreciated. Thanks.

About this angle, the building beside KLCC which u can c the crane is getting taller and is going to block KLCC, this angle is not as gorgeous as before anymore..
But we still can have a try.. biggrin.gif

Other than this angle, anymore??

I think normal kit lens can do the job. There's many tall building around KLCC ...problem is can you get access. brows.gif

go out now, and start scouting for locations. what focal range is your lens having?

This is my shot from Troika. You can go up there have dinner and enjoy your photography. I only have 50mm lens equivalent with me that time. If you have ultra wide would be very nice.

I have a tokina 11-16..

Nice shot, but this view can only see KLCC?? Is it possible to shoot with KL tower?

You could still get the Petronas Twin Towers.
Regardless, here is one of the photos I took there several years ago

Since KL tower top is essential a circle, you get a 360 Pano of KL too.

By this angle you should see KL tower but I can't remember. But the KLCC view is awesome.

Yeap, both taken from KL tower.
There's the observatory deck and then there's the very top.
