what about EVA04 anyone ever heard of EV04's story though it never appeared in the anime but they did mention it dissappear during a experiment...

Eva-04 was blown apart along with the base that store it because of some angel attack if i am not mistaken. It is more or less the same with the Eva-03 that Touji pilot. The only difference is the colour scheme.

It was the Germany's base. EVA-04 was teh first prototype with the engine built inside and has no need for external powah
