nachtsider good info all around. Caught your promoted thread on HWZ then came over here and read since page 1 laugh.gif

Finally caught up to present day and I have a few questions for you, if you could enlighten me.

I am the godson of a deity called Tai Zhu Ya (sorry, I'm also a banana) in Hokkien but I have no idea of his background, story or position in the heavenly army. Would you be able to share more if you do know?

Please do keep up the good work you've been doing in this thread! notworthy.gif

Sidenote: My dad is a medium (at home for friends and family only) that channels multiple deities but mainly Tua Li Ya, Datuk Kong and Datuk Kuning. Na Zha and Ji Gong very rarely makes an appearance. I've grown up in their presence and probably have been protected by them more than I would know, by their guidance and also via talismans.

Hi Reiji, thank you for your viewership both here and at HWZ EDMW. Things move a lot slower here than over there; why is that so, I wonder? Over there, threads are bumped, demoted and what-not almost every minute; here at Lowyat, the same threads can stay on the front page for DAYS. It's really puzzling. blink.gif

Your godfather is none other than Na Zha. He is also known by the sobriquets San Tai Zi/三太子 (Third Prince) or Tai Zi Ye/太子爷 (Venerable Prince) to denote his royal/princely status. I have already gone over Na Zha's background earlier in the thread.

I would absolutely love to hear more about your experiences growing up in the company of your father's patrons, who are remarkably diverse. Please feel free to share your stories here (it's always interesting to hear such anecdotes) or otherwise chit-chat about the subject matter. rclxms.gif

Well, LYN operates on more popular stuff first. Less popular ones always get pushed back.

I've been ignorant of things for far too long laugh.gif Well, they provided me and my family with lots of guidance when we were going through bad times, be it financially, when there's a death in the family, sometimes giving updates of those who have passed. I mostly remember the punishments because I wasn't the most obedient one hahaha. Tua Ya once asked me if I thought I was grown up (when I was about 8), and I said "Yes!". He then told my parents to pack my things as I was old enough to leave the house laugh.gif

One other question: What's the difference with the status of 太子爷? Is it from the battle-ready General form? Na Zha has a lot of forms that I'm not very sure of.

Oh, no; what I mean is that Lowyat is like a dead zone compared to EDMW. On EDMW, dozens of new threads and hundreds of new posts are made each day. The place is teeming with activity. It almost makes it seem as though Singaporeans have more free time compared to Malaysians.  blink.gif

太子爷 is a title that does not refer to any specific form of Na Zha. I've spoken about his other forms (Lotus Prince and Marshal of the Central Altar) elsewhere in the thread; the relevant information is not more than a simple search away.

Tua Ya making you prove your maturity by telling your parents to kick you out of the nest is absolutely hilarious. I love the Hell beings' sense of humour, which can often be very twisted. laugh.gif

A young mother of two hyperactive kids showed up at my teacher's place recently. She asked Li Ya Pek: "Can you do something to make my children more quiet and still?" He looked her in the eye and said: "Consider whom you are talking to. Are you sure you want me to do that?"  devil.gif

laugh.gif I see. I misunderstood your post haha. It seems that if there are no clickbait issues for the day then the the threads move at a glacial page as everyone will be at their respective threads. EDMW is filled with xmm KYM or whatever KYM threads driving up thread counts endlessly IMO.

I actually got that title from here 玉皇太子爷. But me being banana, I have no idea what it means at all.

That was one instance where he prompted my parents to kick me out when I was before 10. There's at least 2 more that I recall laugh.gif

I'm not sure if it's because I grew up with them but I'm very comfortable with receiving advice from them. I've tremendous respect for them now that I think back but back then, I was more a lot more rebellious. But I received their protection all the same. I'm very grateful now after reading more from your posts and getting to know them better. notworthy.gif
