I have a question! tongue.gif

Is it true that what we wish from 大二爷伯 we must repay it back if not something bad will happen?

Absolutely not.

Tua Li Ya Pek are altruistic and upright.

They will help you out of the goodness of their hearts with no expectations of payback.

Of course, this does not mean that you should not show your appreciation.
*
Always thought hell deities are more "fierce". sweat.gif

Thanks for the info!

They are fierce, but only to those who deserve it.

To the innocent and genuinely needy, they are compassionate.

Understood! Maybe it's their way to convince people to be virtues. smile.gif

Normally i go this temple.
*
Hi piglover, how often do you go to this temple? Maybe we met each other before as I always go there too. biggrin.gif

By the way, there are 大二爷伯 in this temple but not many people know about it.

QUOTE(nachtsider @ Aug 9 2017, 02:27 PM)
I attend whichever I can, especially if they are Hell themed.
*
Didn't know there are so many Hell themed events and temples in Klang as it's quite difficult to find Hell themed events/temples in KL now.

Will drop by to your frequent temple once it is back open to public. notworthy.gif

The datuk and hu ye also not easy to find.
Yi pak ye at where?
My auntie and grandma is helper there.
*
Good to know that your aunt and grandma are helpers there. thumbup.gif

Not exactly hidden but not many people will go behind of the temple.

You can go via the door near to the RM6 joss stick there and turn left and will be a staircase to walk down. brows.gif

Actually, Hell themed events and temples in Klang are rare.

The number of temples and sintuas in Klang where Hell deities are channelled can be counted on two hands.
*
Normally Hell deities only appears at just a section of a shrine/temple. Never been to a temple which is Hell deities based.

Ok ok
Will go tonight 😬

Maybe we will see each other tonight? I'm going there tonight as well. laugh.gif

I like subterranean/basement Hell sections very much.

Any photos of this place?
*
I don't have any photo of the temple or the Hell section. Don't dare to take any photo down there at the basement sweat.gif You can google search 保灵宫 to view photos of the temple but there isn't any photo of the Hell section thou.

QUOTE(piglover @ Aug 11 2017, 02:49 PM)
U work there at night?
*
No I just go there and pray quite frequent only. Are you the one with a girl yesterday? brows.gif

QUOTE(nachtsider @ Aug 11 2017, 11:56 PM)
Taking photos in a Hell section is perfectly fine as long as you ask permission first and do not use the flash.

Perhaps one day I shall stop by and immortalise this basement chamber in photographs.
*
You can make a visit on either 2nd or 16th of every lunar month as there will be consult session and there will be quite a crowd. If you want some time alone down at the Hell section basement best is to avoid 2nd and 16th wink.gif

By the way, let me know if you're dropping by in future then I can go as well if I'm free. smile.gif

QUOTE(nachtsider @ Aug 17 2017, 02:37 PM)
Do not antagonise the ghosts in any way.

Refrain from disturbing the offerings for the ghosts (it is okay to clear or move them several hours after they have been laid out or burned), or trespassing into spaces reserved for them.

The principal days on which offerings are made en masse are the first, fifteenth and last days of the Seventh Month.

Offerings for random hungry ghosts should not be laid out or burned within your home or its compound; do this some distance away, or at a public place like a temple.

Offerings for your loved ones can be made within the grounds of your home, and should always include an address slip with the intended recipient's full name, date of birth and date of death.

Do not offer anything apart from food, traditional incense paper and simple paper clothing.

It is kind to make offerings to the Hell deities, as well, because they are tasked with protecting you from the hungry ghosts and maintaining the peace; offer them tobacco, alcohol and roasted meat.

Apart from all this, anything goes, really.
*
Thanks for the advice! notworthy.gif

Hope everyone and everything will go well during the 7th month.

Klang's Hock Teck Zia Sin Geng, a prominent sintua dedicated primarily to Tua Pek Gong, will be holding a celebration in honour of Lord Zhang the Serpent Queller plus the Hellish hosts next week.

The festival spans 25-27 August, with the main event taking place on 27 August at 7 p.m.

Venue address is Lot 2514, Jalan Bahagia, Kampung Batu Belah, 41050 Klang.

Feel free to show up! biggrin.gif

No la.
Sorry for late reply.
Finally i pay a visit at the back of the 保灵宫 temple.
I only able to pray to both horse and cow guard outside.
My heart and leg doesnt allow me to go in.
I stop at the border untill my uncle bring me in.
We pray follow the orders and my uncle ask for lucky number.
As we chat with the sifu, the operation hours can go up to 4 to 5am.
Hope to pray again soon.
Very interesting. Thx for recommendation!
*
Same goes to me too. I don't dare to go in alone especially when there are kids playing right behind the temple. doh.gif

I heard that you will need to take number for the consultation before 9pm as after 9pm the numbers will be finish and you will need to wait till after midnight only reach your turn.

Usually if I'm alone I will just stand outside at the horse/cow guards and pray. Got no balls to walk in myself. laugh.gif

I actually neglected to mention one more thing.

Do not ask the ghosts for blessings or favours.

Being prisoners with sentences to serve and penance to pay, they are in no position to grant you requests and have no power to do so.

Pity them, yes, but do not trust them as far as you can spit.
*
Got it master nacht! Will respect and pity them but better don't come near us bruce.gif

Let me know when you are going there again. wink.gif

Always remember to go back to pray or bring some food offerings if the deities manage to help you and most important is to donate some of the "open number's reward" to the needy. thumbsup.gif
