Hey guys, I really need some help on getting this tone or "effect" on my guitar, I watched a visual kei band's live DVD and one of the guitar solos had this super amazing
awesome sound to it, the guitarist used a harmonizer effect, but I'm not sure what effect it is that gives off that gnarly growling effect...
Since I can't upload a clip of the DVD here, I have a pretty similar example;

SOLO

In this video, (0.59) he plays the solo with a harmonizer, it also has a little bit of that growling sound that I'm talking about,
but with the harmonizer in my multieffects I can't get the same results

Any of you can help me out? Seriously dying to know how I can get that effect...

Also, can I also get some guide to using the Harmonizer effect on my multieffects pedal? It has a Scale and Key settings which I'm not so sure what to do with, so far I've just been fiddling until it sounds right..
I'm not quite sure how it works, so I hope to get some help with this too

PS; If any of you know "the GazettE", it's their MELT TOUR DVD and I'm talking about the "Dripping Insanity" solo, wondering if there are any Malaysian GazettE lovers out there, I can hardly find one! cry.gif

Do you think that's that is just how the harmonizer pedal sounds?

Also could be done by doing some dissonant notes, if that sounded growly to you.
