since imported I guess you might need to deal with IPmart when it comes to warranty, so the risk is yours to take. smile.gif

thanks. but it's basically the same camera right? or like mobile phones, AP phones can mean it's only 70% same

It's the same camera. smile.gif

For phone it might have regional specific fixed apps installed or different language.

So, it probably wouldn't be a problem for cameras. laugh.gif

probably u can ask seller about xe1 + 27mm..maybe a special price for u

27mm? hmmm also a prime lens it seems. any thoughts on it versus the 18mm ? I mainly shoot street/people. Although other lens are more ideal, 27mm and 18mm is way smaller

has anyone read this ? some interesting talk about X30's EVF and Classic Chrome. And "slight" hint of possibility of more film simulations such as the Neopan, thru firmware updates. I see now that X30's EVF is pretty advanced

just a quick, uninteresting-subject test on XF1 cheap camera

Following somebody's advice to use these settings at most times

ISO : Auto 3200 Max
DR Range : 400
Image Size : M
Simulation : Provia

nice, great to hear more simulation are coming.

Classic chrome is really nice. I enjoy using it more and more.

X30 wifi function doesn't work with all android phones though. a big annoyance from a good camera. sad.gif

ahhh, too bad. so, a usb-to-go sd card ready is always handy

No indications of the pricing yet, well, given that I already have the 35mm F1.4, I might pass.

I actually would appreciate if they made a more "budget friendly" version of the 23mm/56mm with F1.8 or F2 apertures though. They were my mainstay with my m43 set, which I still keep with the 17mm/45mm combo and stuck with 14mm/35mm on the Fuji.

in theory, it should be cheaper than the f1.4 version right?

anyway, I tested this usb-powered battery charger

RM14 from lelong.my (search for TEMEI Charger)

using my xiaomi powerbank, slot in my np50 original battery (1000mah). charging was done in about 90 minutes.

I'm happy it works ! great for travelling !

not suitable for batteries where the + and - points distance is wide. (such as the XT1's battery). for that you'll need to get Anker brand.

see the microusb input? that's where u plug in your powerbank

35mm f1.4 compared to f2

"Forgive me if this has already been answered. The 35mm f2 will be smaller and internal focus, most likely much quieter AF than the polishing rocks sound of the 35 f1.4. Internal focus means the front doesn't move back and forth while focusing. The f1.4 is an amazing lens, but if you don't need the extra stop and want a smaller lens, it will be like an affordable Leica 50 Summicron f2"

They should just make a 23mm f2 instead, the 35mm 1.4 is already very small and light

35mm f2 is extra small, cheaper and more hipster hehe
