has anyone read this ? some interesting talk about X30's EVF and Classic Chrome. And "slight" hint of possibility of more film simulations such as the Neopan, thru firmware updates. I see now that X30's EVF is pretty advanced

QUOTE(azrash @ Feb 10 2015, 11:11 AM) nice, great to hear more simulation are coming. ahhh, too bad. so, a usb-to-go sd card ready is always handyClassic chrome is really nice. I enjoy using it more and more. X30 wifi function doesn't work with all android phones though. a big annoyance from a good camera. |

QUOTE(GRexer @ Feb 13 2015, 05:41 PM) No indications of the pricing yet, well, given that I already have the 35mm F1.4, I might pass. in theory, it should be cheaper than the f1.4 version right?I actually would appreciate if they made a more "budget friendly" version of the 23mm/56mm with F1.8 or F2 apertures though. They were my mainstay with my m43 set, which I still keep with the 17mm/45mm combo and stuck with 14mm/35mm on the Fuji. anyway, I tested this usb-powered battery charger RM14 from lelong.my (search for TEMEI Charger) using my xiaomi powerbank, slot in my np50 original battery (1000mah). charging was done in about 90 minutes. I'm happy it works ! great for travelling ! not suitable for batteries where the + and - points distance is wide. (such as the XT1's battery). for that you'll need to get Anker brand. ![]() see the microusb input? that's where u plug in your powerbank |

35mm f1.4 compared to f2
"Forgive me if this has already been answered. The 35mm f2 will be smaller and internal focus, most likely much quieter AF than the polishing rocks sound of the 35 f1.4. Internal focus means the front doesn't move back and forth while focusing. The f1.4 is an amazing lens, but if you don't need the extra stop and want a smaller lens, it will be like an affordable Leica 50 Summicron f2" |
