Hi ladies & gents,
Hope all is well.
I'm looking forward to buy the Fujifilm X-T1 and get the 23mm f1.4 lens when I get back to Malaysia. Any recommendation on where I should get mine purchased at a decent price? I don't need the freebies like bags, SD card, etc. I need a couple of extra batteries. (How long does the battery last for the X-T1?)
My hometown is in Melaka & I will be going to Penang for a weekend. Also, I don't mine doing a run to KL to get them.
Thank you reading this and hope to hear from all the sifus here.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 12 2015, 02:51 PM) I got my X-T1, 23mm and 18mm from Mr.Oss. Very nice and friendly guy, his response on forum may not be instant, so just WhatsApp him for faster reply. He even delivered to my house and office but I'm in KL la. Most importantly, his pricing is very competitive. Hi fruitie, Thanks for the prompt reply. I will keep that in mind. Does Mr. Oss has a shop in KL? I might get some flashes and accessories for my X-T1 kit.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 12 2015, 03:15 PM) No, I don't think he has a shop. He is an online seller. Rest assured, all the items he carry come with Fujilfilm Malaysia warranty and he will fill up the warranty card for you on the spot. I think he carries most of the Fujifilm stuff, you can ask from him. The X-T1 does come with a small portable external flash though. Thanks fruitie! How does your X-T1 battery last?

QUOTE(yanfay26 @ Feb 24 2015, 05:12 PM) I got a Larmor GLASS screen protector from Shashinki for rm70. Thanks! Will look into it. QUOTE(kianwee @ Feb 24 2015, 05:19 PM) http://www.lazada.com.my/larmor-optical-gl...-t1-840067.htmlRM48.00 only. Use the 10% off code from the main page and it's only RM43.20. Thanks! Unfortunately, it will take to long to deliver. I'm leaving the country on the 8th and the item will only be delivered by the 23rd - 26th March.

QUOTE(jeffreyp @ Feb 25 2015, 12:38 PM) Unfortunately it comes with Rm15 delivery charges...well cheaper than shashiki anyway Yeah, it would cost me roughly RM63 and slower delivery service. I ordered off Shashinki, paid extra RM70 but shipped by Pos Laju. Anyways, thanks for the info.

Won't be back here till August or maybe even next CNY. Anyways, I ordered mine on Shashinki yesterday morning and I got my Larmor 2 hours ago. Say goodbye to the generic screen protector, use two weeks and it's starting to come off. Next, looking for a decent tripod/monopod for traveling.

QUOTE(sixtydee123 @ Feb 26 2015, 10:45 PM) What is the difference of the 6 and 10 on a x100? Higher in class, eg. Class 10 = faster write/read speeds. Recommended if you're shooting FHD videos or taking continuous photos in RAW. For normal JPEGs and lower resolution videos, you can use Class 6 cards.

QUOTE(Sawamura @ Apr 14 2015, 11:55 AM) how u guys u manual lenses like samyang.. i used one before.. in camera looks all damn nice.. looks in PC and print only know focus was all over the place.. BTW, im considering to get myself one prime lens.. Since XT1 is crop.. any 23mm lens is equiv to 35mm right? and 35mm is equiv to 50mm ? still cant decide to pick 23mm or 35mm.. hope to get one for walkabout, street and landscape (when intended) photograhy Personally, I have the 23mm and I find it's perfect as a walkabout or street photography lens. I would prefer a wider lens for landscape, eg 12mm /14mm. I find the 23mm is more practical since it's wider and if I wanna get closer to the subject I can walk closer. The 35mm is tighter, as mentioned, good for portrait, can get close without moving, but you might find yourself right against the wall for wider shots. My vote for the 23mm.

QUOTE(bug_vengeance @ Apr 15 2015, 09:26 AM) wah looks nice can u do a neck strap like this ? n r u willing to open for order ? Thanks. I'm making one neck strap as well, but in black & neon green. I will post pics of them once I'm done. Unfortunately, I'm based out of Malaysia and I don't have much supply of paracord with me. It's not really hard to make one and you can find tutorials off Youtube. This type of knot is called 'Snake Knot'. You can order the Paracord off Lelong, or maybe contact those paracord bracelet maker to make one for you.

Hi guys, hope you can enlighten me with this issue I have. Recently, I've found out my X-T1's shutter dial has the "sticky issue". I have a couple of question regarding this :
1. Is this covered in the warranty? The camera is roughly 5 month old. 2. How long does it take to fix this? 3. Where should I go in Malaysia to fix this? My hometown is Melaka.
Thanks!
