I'll be going to the White Desert in a few days. Problem is there's no electricity there for me to charge my Fuji X-T1 battery. So does anyone know a good portable solution to this?

A non USB power bank of some sort?

I think get 5-6 batteries is a better option. Unless you doing time lapse for long hours then it is better for you to get external battery pack.

New bag (Medium size) hehe~ wub.gif

user posted imageA good buy! by Pixels Dimension, on Flickr

Since my old bag cannot fit the new lens, I thought I'd simply buy a relatively cheap bag from Taobao.com. Paid ~RM100 for this one laugh.gif
Huge surprise! The bag turned out to be very high quality and looks great too~
There is another secondary "bag" within that prevents water from reaching your camera drool.gif
All in all, a purchase that I am proud of hehe~ thumbup.gif Makes me wonder why I paid so much for my Retrospective last time sweat.gif

For those who are interested in details or getting this bag, feel free to ask for more details yeah~ Comes in 3 different sizes, will fit DSLRs too!

Maybe you can show the interior of the bag. The size is similar with my NG W2140 which is more than enough for mirrorless setup. brows.gif

Yeah, still loads of space left inside haha thumbup.gif
The Large size one would be more suitable for DSLR setups laugh.gif

It looks like the replica of NG W2141. For that price, it is a very good deal. tongue.gif

The only thing I dont like about NG bag is the depth of the bag. I prefer something like Billingham Hadley Pro. brows.gif

damn, should have bought a silver x30 instead tongue.gif jk

just curious, since you have both x20 and x100s, when do you use the x100s instead of x20 and vice versa?

---------------------------

does anyone with a x10/x20/x30 use the LHF-X20 lens hood? looking to get one and use a CPL filter together with it. since the lens hood kit comes with a protective EBC filter, would it work if i put a CPL filter after the protective filter and screw the hood on the CPL filter?

and is the EBC protective filter's size is 40mm?

Any cheap and reliable monopod? Plan to buy and use it as a selfie stick for my Japan trip. smile.gif

I'll bring my XT-1 along but thinking if I should get a Polaroid Cube (looks like a GoPro) as I'll be on a solo trip this time.

Maybe you can go for brands like Benro or try to hunt in taobao if you want something reliable and cheap .
You can mod the Polaroid Cube to hotshoe mount and put it on your xt1 and you have first person view. tongue.gif
