So, my monitor is connected to my PC but no display is shown, just black, not even the "No signal detected" sign.

The only 2 things that come up upon booting up my PC are

and

then after that it turn completely black. However the monitor power button is still red though, meaning its on, ie not blinking, cuz if blinking red means its on standby, ie when PC is not on.

I've tried using another monitor on my PC and it worked fine so I conclude not my PC/GPU's problem.

I've tried using other VGA cable as well as try connecting via HDMI cable but same case not working as well so I conclude its not cable problem.

But since the monitor is still able to display "something", I assume its not completely dead and not all hopes are lost, so my question is, what could be the problem and is this problem fixable?

Problem solved, it seems the firmware is corrupted, a simple download of firmware using a laptop and update it via VGA and its working again..

No idea firmware can be updated via VGA cable and no idea monitor firmware can suddenly be corrupted just like that.
