Hey girls, do you girls have any effective way to get rid of blackheads and whiteheads?
Doesn't matter if it's long term, as long as they effectively decrease.
So tired of sticking that biore nose patch every week :\
Edit: I do my 3 steps everyday, ritually. i.e. Cleanse, Tone, Moisturise. But I still get these pesky bumps. I do believe it's genetics.

I do think mine are genetic unfortunately its quite painful to pull out once it dries up suggest use on a small area first for testing apply moisturiser after that

I've watched a youtube video where a girl used a cotton pad to put baking powder mixed with water on her nose before using a biore strip. It effectively pulled out every single one of the gunk on her nose. Perhaps you can try that. I know how you feel though, i used to have whiteheads on my nose and it was never a pretty sight to me. However i'm using a product that eventually made my whiteheads disappear. I guess the right product should do the trick.

I'm gonna test the baking powder one and see how it works on me Thanks for the tips. Would you mind sharing what product you're using?

I do believe it's genetics. you can try out sulfur + salicyclic acid soap: http://www.drugs.com/cdi/salicylic-acid-sulfur-soap.htmlI bought one from Tesco, it doesn't smell good, but you can apply on the infected area to reduce blackheads/whiteheads. I already use it like few weeks ... I think can reduce a bit ... especially acne ... very obvious.

Well the product i'm using is a local product. It's supposed to be free from mercury and is mostly made from natural ingredients. I surveyed it for months before i actually purchased the set. Since it is safe from chemicals, it takes some time to actually work. For the current being i'm just using the night cream. The product looks like in the picture i've attached below. You can find it everywhere, on insta or the hq itself. Attached thumbnail(s)

Hey guys, I tried out the Baking Soda trick to remove blackheads. It worked for me. I'll link the video if anyone in the future wants to see it. The video the girl put a lot of water and a lot of baking soda. But all you need is a little water and baking soda. I tried and tested it a few times, if the baking soda not enough, it's not gonna work as effectively. Just give it a few tries and see which one suits you best. Cheers! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A86nwHnIc1U

another suggestion for you would be to use a facial brush or wash cloth during cleansing. Your fingers alone are not enough because there is no texture.

Use your usual pore remover first, biore, egg white, whatever facial you have.
Then everyday after that, use a toner and cotton pad to scrub it after shower. Cotton pad will have all the 'young' oil stains that could clog the pores and form blackheads. Usually yellowish or darkish.
The key is, soap or facial wash alone is not sufficient to remove the oil on your face.
Daily cleaning with a toner (light Tea tree oil based) and cotton pad should greatly slow down potential blackheads from forming. It will remove not just the stubborn oils around the pores but easily dislodge the fresh young dried oils about to clog up and form a blackhead.
Reduce pimple chances too. (And kills bacteria since toners come with some alcohol as antiseptic)

QUOTE(dinoxzkiller @ Feb 3 2015, 05:07 PM) a lil not enough meh ? oni nose and are around nose jek wor It's the ratio, not large amount of water + baking soda. ^^ To have it to work more effectively on me is to have more baking soda. It's really a trial and error thing. Baking soda is not good for skin and can irritate it so just try and see which one works best for you
