To their credit, it is 2 games within less than 48 hours. So it might be tiring for them.

Luckily AV25 isn't injured nor are Mcnair and Evans which is a blessing in disguise.

LVG said the 3 players were "tired"...

Guess playing 2 games in less than two days would take its toll

Mata and Young played quite well today.
Should have subbed either RVP or Falcao off with a midfield to help to cover more distance for the team instead.

looks like at times falcao and RVP confused with their positioning...getting into each others' area.
better to play one striker?

Looking at the bench today, I dare not make any bets.

Only possible changes I can see would be Smalling, Rafael, and maybe Shaw starting the game with Evans and Valencia (assuming his injury permits) on the bench.

Wouldn't be surprised if Carrick is on the bench too, simply because his age means he needs more time for recovery. Downside to that would be that Fletcher might start... unless Herrera or Fellaini have recovered enough to start.

Wow misses the great opportunity to close the gap! Altho not expect to win the league, but hopefully can be above the noisy neighbour, haha.

completely agree. disappointed with our strikers to be honest.

Yeah, was really let down by Falcao honestly. Poor touches and lose the ball easily. 90% of the time when passed to him, we would lose the ball.

Also thinks that our strategy of long balls forward by defense is not working or plating to Spurs hand.... Should do something different back then.

i think confirm starters will be ddg, rooney, rvp.

defense will probably be evans, shaw, smalling with probably blackett in for evans sometime in the game.

i think draw is a fair result.

we were good in 1st half, missed a couple of great chances.

spurs were better in 2nd half. apart of mata and rvp (?) missed, i dont recall any great move by our players.

another tough visit coming on thursday..
