If the contest involve having a chance to win by SMS if your transaction code is xxxx number then:

- get lots of people that have the bank's cc
- wait at tesco or other Hypermarket cashiers
- offer to pay for groceries then collect cash. Offer 5 to 10% discounts
- collect transaction codes and register for entries

The trick is to have some friends whose business have merchant accounts with low MDR(i am sure you know some if you are a businessman like this guy). Then swipe your participating card to these friend's terminals to match the contest rule. There is "investment cost" for this trick though, as he will need to rugi the transaction fee to the banks if he fails to win. It could be some kind of JV(revenue share if win prize) between him and the friends who lends him their merchant account.

Same like jackpot, i think. Only certain pipu with connection will win. In short, it is a system to give big money/prize to a certain individual while staying under the MACC's radar.

The grand prize winner of the contest Peoh Kim Teck drove home a brand new Mini Cooper S, while four other MBF cardmembers won RM2,500 each as consolation prizes.

Originally from Penang, Peoh is currently a FMCG products sales person in Kuala Lumpur. As soon as he heard about the MBF programme, he immediately devised a strategy to win the grand prize.

He stopped using his other credit cards and even cancelled a few. He swiped all purchases under his MBF credit card.

Even when he could pay using cash at the hypermarket or petrol station, he would only use his MBF cards to make payment.

When he received the call from MBF informing him of his win, he could not contain his happiness or believe his luck.

“Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that I will be winning a dream car. I am just lucky I guess!” said Peoh.
