QUOTE(avrilmae @ Mar 4 2017, 10:56 AM) Yes I think it's possible to lose weight but how long can you last with this chicken diet? I agree with above poster, try to lose weight gradually. Taking baby steps is the best way to get lasting results. Indeed. That's why I am against extreme alteration of diet or using meal replacements for more than one meal, which is not sustainable in the long run. This will cause rebound in fat and weight, once you switch back to your non meal replacement or normal meals. The same way, skipping meals doesn't work either. I do use a high protein meal replacement shake for my breakfast as I find it difficult to get a high protein breakfast in the morning. My lunch and dinner is well spaced, around four to five hours and I did manage to lose 3 inches without having to diet in less than 90 days. The goal is to have sustainable Fat loss, to burn fats and create lean muscles to increase the metabolic rate. The other thing is, sugar craving is a key indicator and precursor to Insulin resistance.

QUOTE(New Klang @ Aug 30 2017, 03:59 PM) What are the daily workouts that you do besides the 10 minutes Tabata? It is proven that exercise have a great effect on the health. Just eat natural food and less chemicals. Only Tabata and HIIT. Yup true, and short term diet goals rarely work. Tried that before, I lose weight very fast and gain double the amount very fast as well. I am glad that I found the right platform which provided me the right knowledge on choosing nutritious food, learning how to supplement the missing stuff from my daily diet and of course moderate exercise; for sustainable weight loss.

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Sep 14 2017, 09:52 AM) Unless you don't follow your own 'programme" but promote them to others. Else you will have your own "transformation" and to make it more convincing, you should show it. I concur with you, its not about 80%Nutrition 20% exercise. What most supplement sales people do is that they talk about replacing wholesome food with their shakes (which constitutes to the nutrition). In actual fact, Nutrition can be still derived from real food. We just need to choose and build our plate right, then use supplement as supplements to supplement the missing item from our actual solid real food and exercise of course. The results will be sustainable, long term and ensures health from inside out, instead of the many short term fix by going on liquified diet or eating soups for the rest of our lives as promoted by some companies and its agents. QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Sep 18 2017, 10:17 PM) My first successful diet is oat fruits and maybe a 100g of chicken or fish with no oil AT all. I loose hell alot. So who says carbs makes you fat? How long can you be on calorie deficit diet? If this is going to be your lifestyle, then its ok

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Sep 20 2017, 08:16 PM) Not sustainable at all. And it was stupid. I was on too low on deficit. That shouldnt be a lifestyle. But what I did to start brought me to what I am today. What I am trying to say is, carbs wont make you fat. Over eating does. Indeed and the right carb matters too; cutting of carbs completely is not good in the long run. Keto dieters will kill me for sure.

QUOTE(butterjiken @ Jan 17 2018, 11:01 PM) Hello everyone, I used to weigh 46.x/47.x kg at 160 cm, that was like on 2016 Then within the span of approximately one year, i weigh 48.x and sometimes 49.x So i started becoming really uncomfortable and i'm trying to reach my old weight back. I started eating better i guess ? like i reduced the portion of my meal, reducing the carbs, sugar and stuffs. But, i actually gain weight lmaoooo what's happening. i stand on a scale just now and my weight is at 49.8 kg. So eating lesser actually causing me to gain weight? Mohon pencerahan anyone Thank you Track the food that you eat, eating processed or refined carb is worst than having actual carb (eg having white rice is better than having noodles or bread for instance) Do read up on glycemic index of food, for better understanding. Totally removing carbs will not work well in the long run, where health is concerned.

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Jan 19 2018, 12:45 PM) The difference in weight for me after and before food can go up to 2kg. Pee and shit the next morning the weight regularise. So Don't go gaga over the figure on the weighing scale. Also, reduce portion? I heard that alot. I have a case that is successful. He just put aside half of the food he ordered and eat the half. The rest no touch. No cheat no stupid eat. The rest? They will just fail because there is no tangible measurement on the food they take in. ^This. You think you are eating very little but look at the calorie for 30 pcs of almond. For a weight loss stand point, what you eat doesn't matter. How much you eat does. That's why there's sustainable weight loss and not sustainable weight loss. Take your pick

QUOTE(leah235 @ Apr 6 2018, 06:06 PM) +1 I've been doing 4x HIIT & other 3 days light workout. (I feel my skin tighten & look refreshed too) surprisingly, I lose 4kg in a week. it was a mere experience. I ate 1 apple, 1 sweet potato, protein shake for a week. You are on calorie deficit diet plan, rarely works in the long run as it ruins metabolism. People need to understand that weight loss from fat loss is much more desirable than just pure weight loss. When you eat less calories, than your body needs; you lose weight but that also means your body will compensate by using up whatever reserves it has; which includes burning muscle for fuel.
