My work sometime require me to sit in datacenter with cold aircond, working late at night. Sometimes I forgot to drink plain water in a day. What can I do to reduce my weight with such odd working hours? u used to be like me. work like slave. weekends go jogging burn some calories. and dont skip ur breakfast wo.

QUOTE(hirano @ May 15 2016, 12:26 AM) 60% diet, 40% exercise. If you dont check what you eat, even with some cardio, fat hardly gonna decrease. Calorie out > calorie in. So mind your calorie intakes. And do add resistance training, not cardio. More muscles = more afterburn. QUOTE(tinarhian @ May 15 2016, 12:56 AM) Good idea. After awhile, I've realized too that I was doing alot of cardio instead of weight training. Now I'm doing less cardio, more weight and resistance training. same like me. always go gym do 3km jog. maybe need to focus on muscles.

QUOTE(mt24 @ Jun 4 2016, 08:34 AM) Just want to share how i get rid my excessive weight. Before start exercise my bmi was 27 which is slightly obese. I know it was an alarm to bad health so i start working out. I start with weight training only 3 times a week. My weight did reduce but not much significant even after few months. Later i change my training method, before i do my usual weight training, i do run on treadmill or elliptical machine for about 10 to 20mins. That exercises very effective where now i manage to have the bmi of 22. Still now i do 3 times a week only. Of course have to have 1 day rest so that i am not overdo myself. Good luck dude in reducing weight. so u go to the gym do treadmill around 10-20m (i guess 1.5km) after that do some muscle training?

What is ideal body fat composition? If naik but still within acceptable range should be ok right? got le. normally 3km within 40min-50min. depends i do slowly or what. last week i check my body fat is 19. means over.

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jun 6 2016, 10:17 AM) 19 is not that bad la...little bit more. but 3km in 40-50mins is like walking pace...try up the intensity more to 3km in 30mins...then more... yeah. treadmill sambil watching anime. no wonder so slow. try to adjust and make sure in 30min should be 3km or 2.5km at least. i 164cm and 67kg. (start gym april and suddenly all times hungry.)

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Jul 20 2016, 06:31 PM) No. Refer to slimey's reply. One tissue cannot possibly convert to another. Where did u hear of that actually because apparently this is a well known myth googling and hear some people say. so how to lost that fat? doing exercise/ go gym? so whats the purpose for fatty people go to gym?

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Jul 21 2016, 09:33 AM) Again, refer to Slimey's reply. Fats does NOT convert to Muscles. Exercising helps to burn calories but any form of workout of exercise is pointless if you consume more calories than you burn. As a result, you will be gaining weight instead of losing. The most effective way of burning fat is through your eating habits (caloric deficit) and working out helps quite a bit too. I suggest you read the previous replies here carefully will do. thanks
