yup, actually i already have Eastspring Global Leaders, Global Emerging Markets and Affin Hwang Asia Quantum in my portfolio now....

just reviewing my portfolio to minimize the overlap.

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jan 14 2015, 02:28 PM)
Eastspring GEM also has some HK/China and ASEAN stocks which Affin Hwang Asia Quantum and CIMB Dynamite Income might/can have.

But up to 40% of Eastspring GEM are exposed to "pure" EM markets like middle east, Africa, Emerging Europe, Russia, Latin America etc which the other 2 funds are not exposed to wink.gif

jutamind u trying to build a portfolio? biggrin.gif

Today Asian markets red red

Don't wait for Saturday 0.5% discount, top up now! tongue.gif

Hmm, received email saying that KAF Global Equities Fund is going to be terminated due to small fund size. It actually has been performing decently.

That's what I was planning to do. But I think US valuations a bit on the high side now so I switched to Aberdeen Islamic World instead.

Wong Seafood,

After drinking a hot soup of ABC for dinner, I've had that same though as yours...

Now is already too late to run
Run now = Sell low (Ringgit), buy high (USD/SGD)

Thanks for giving me the confidence to hold station biggrin.gif

Additional thought... hmm.gif

Buy Ruble? tongue.gif

Ruble will go down further if they default. I hope not a repeat of 1998 all over again. More hedging please..

If you think it through, EPF withdraw is only done every quarter.  Not everyone is that tech savvy. Besides, she only prompt me four times in a year. Is that excessive?

Perhaps I didn't put it correctly n you misunderstood my intent being more focused on balls and reminders.

Though I check my portfolio every morning and read up on business news, there is always that gap and missed opportunity. An agent is the investors extended hand, otherwise why pay the premium and not just use FSM.

you are too serious, lighten up a bit, would be more fun that way. I get your serious reply in the other thread as well sweat.gif

How could u possibly outperform ALL 3?

The fund is a composite of the 3 markets. As long as its performance is above the sum average of the 3, considered good already.

Unless u so pro can forecast when US is overheated, u move to Japan...
When Japan overheated, u move to Europe...
...and on and on and on
