YES...the FH got no records of your holdings....

Q: WHEN I BUY FUNDS FROM FUNDSUPERMART, IN WHOSE NAME WILL THE UNITS BE REGISTERED IN?
A: For cash investments, all units will be registered under iFAST Nominees Sdn. Bhd. For EPF Account 1 investment, they will be registered in your names. These units are segregated from the company’s assets.
You can contact our hotline (03)2149 0567 for any problems regarding your investments and iFAST Capital Sdn. Bhd. will liaise on your behalf with the fund managers

I am a recent investor through FSM, and I have been stalking following this forum for slightly over a month and from what I've read, I must say that the seniors here are very nice people! Thank you for being so!

hmm.gif interesting thought.....
hmm.gif .......what "IF" next month....FM of ponzi 2.0 decided to go heavy into M'sia?
(what is Plan B then?)
*
you post a good question... which i have not considered. lol. i deduce base on logic and past few months allocation that ponzi shouldn't suddenly go >20% into malaysia kua.

even if yes, well, in my portfolio, i have been slowly diversifying away from single country exposure too la... so i think i've done relatively ok, i hope.

hmm.gif  see the Eq section of the fund.....does it generate value add to your Eq section of yr portfolio?
ex....if you "think' hv enough Eq in M'sia in yr portfolio.....and the Eq section of these balanced fund is also heavy in M'sia.......then why not buy a standalone Eq fund that is covering for your underweighted region in yr portfolio and another bond fund....at a ratio that you liked (try not to get a EQ that is single country/sector focused fund)

A significant factor in the performance of funds is the exchange rate.

For eg, MYR dropped 15% against USD in the last 6mths.

This has a direct impact if you have foreign funds. Even if you don't, the indirect impact is that overseas traders' behaviour in the local market is affected by the exchange rate, or at least their perception of the exchange rate.

but if you keep on seeing below par performance for 2~3 years, when compared with other funds of almost "similar" mandate......then you should know what to do

Happy CNY everyone!

Anyone deposited money into RHB-OSK Cash Management Fund 2 ? Is it really better than savings as claimed by FSM?
Read the factsheets, the past result is almost the same as FD rate though

Don't treat it as a FD biggrin.gif I treat it as a savings account to purchase UT Instead of keeping the money in an ordinary Savings account.
