I had 3 "good teeth" removed for my braces treatment. 2 at the top, 1 at the bottom. Had a overbite problem as well. No inconvenience to me except aesthetic wise I was quite shy to laugh or smile with the gaps of 3 missing teeth. Then again I was more self conscious of my wonky, overbite teeth also. So it was an OK trade-off. I'm not sure if you've proceeded with your teeth extraction by now but I highly recommend it if you're still hesitating. Having space for your teeth to be "pulled back" is essential to reduce the overbite.
