I just went for consultation at T.Low in SS2 yesterday. Was quoted 6k for conventional braces. The Dr. was really friendly. Is 6k the normal market rate though?

T Low Dental at SS2 quoted RM5800 including 4 extractions.
Procare at Damansara Utama quoted RM5800 excluding extractions. PJ Orthodonthic at Damansara Utama quoted RM4800 excluding extractions. I've decided to do mine at T Low. The PJ Orthodontic's Dr left a very bad impression on me. Very rough while doing the consultation and half the time he was busy talking to his assistant about some other stuff instead of attending to me. |

AjiAjo: Nope, it's for normal braces.
DrBarbarian: Dr Tan Ching Ching? Yeap she was very nice, but price was ever slightly higher than the one at T Low so in the end I opted for T Low since I am pretty comfortable with the orthodontist there as well. |

T Low is open on Saturdays but not Sundays.
I am getting mine put on this Saturday! Finally! Have been on a soft food diet for the past week since having my spacers put in. Not fun. =.= |

QUOTE(Double_Ace @ Oct 13 2011, 08:02 AM) congratulation cherrie Lingual braces costs 10k upwards. He has a price list in his clinic. You can go have a look. Mine's the normal metal type costing RM5800. So far I have already had my braces on for almost a week. I must be really lucky since there is no pain and no canker sores so far. Teeth is tender when pressure is applied so I am on a soft food diet. |
