I have changed it to P3ST, but would like to remain this thread as i think it will benefit others who wanna to decide between these two smile.gif

I think P3ST is not easily found in shop, mostly are selling PS3, the reason i choose it is due to my driving style which is slow and steady type, didn't really test it yet as just done it today, but i found it is quite bumpy when the road is not even, am i getting it wrong? sad.gif ..

my tyre size is 205/55/16, the shop help to pump 34 psi, i normally pump 30psi on my previous stock tyre - Michelin Xm1, could it be the reason?

the mechanic told me 34 psi will improve driving experience, and i feel the tyre floating like driving a boat, I'm not good in testing this, will update more detail later, but the tyre really quiet smile.gif

Set your tyre pressure to be same as before
Higher pressure tend to make your car more jumpy

Mind to share where you get the pricing for this? Shop info etc....
It's inclusive of Alignment n Balancing?

So far, your pricing is at cheaper side...I searched in forum, mostly at the range of 400-460
Even last Tuesday I go and ask in JB, P3ST = RM420each... changes 4pcs, dunno free what thing...
Din further ask, as haven't take my car yet sweat.gif

With such small price difference, you should've gone for the PS3 since it's a better performance category. Even when you don't drive fast/aggressively, better grip from better performance tires can safe you by giving you a better chance of avoiding accidents.

Anyway what is your car? Tire pressure is heavily dependant on the car's weight, even more than the tire type. So just start first from the recommended tire pressure of your car (usually on the sticker at the door) then increase progressively. Once you feel it's too hard/floaty/bumpy then reduce it back until the point you feel the best.

The boss also told the same, but I really prefer to hv quiet tyre, so far so good, feel the handling and acceleration better than my previous tyre, actually I got same price for ps3, but my mind set for p3st smile.gif

One more point for p3st is that, it is also more durable and fuel economically according to boss, yet to prove this

Friend, I got it from usj, the shop name is usj18 tyre, free alignment, balancing and tyre cap, price rm370.

Initially, I went to quicksave tyre, they offer the same price, rm370, when I reach there, they told me need to order, they keep persuade me to get ps3 and offered me the same price of rm370 too, I was thought going back after Christmas, but I found usj 18 tyre shop have the stock of p3st, end up I install from there smile.gif

Boss of usj18 is ok, but I think quicksave tyre sales girl is more friendly, too bad I need the tyre for travel before Christmas smile.gif

PS3 is noisy meh??
More durable and fuel economical mean less grip due to harder compound.

Hey Bro 6UE5T,

my car is Altis 2011 model, not sure how to calculate the right pressure, but from door showing 30psi, honestly, i haven't got the chance to try out PS3, not sure P3St more quiet or PS3, but most forummer mentioned P3St is more quiet, PS3 is main for performance, may be someone who use both PS3 and P3ST will give better review smile.gif

Ben, i can get PS3 in quicksave with RM390, when i insist to go for P3ST, then they ask whether RM370 is fine for me smile.gif

FYI, that's the price for four tyre.
