QUOTE(d3iltan @ Nov 3 2006, 10:17 AM) Hi, I am new here and I got advices from friends of building model kits by using sand paper to make the smooth espeacially the putty area where you snap of from the main plastic. start with the rough grade sand paperI got the sand papers but I dont know how to use it. Now with your advices, I think I should give it a go and try out. Thanks for it. then finish smooth it by using a very fine grade sandpaper |

QUOTE(d3iltan @ Nov 3 2006, 11:55 AM) thanks. hahaDo you know about detailing it by using pen on the model kits? I was trying to do it but I failed. The ink keeps fading away. what should i do? this one ar my technique a bit funny i use those normal 0.2 tip and 0.1 tip pens i bought from stationary shops carefully draw them and then leave them aside to dry don touch after dry rub the excess off with eraser unless u expert enough to make wheatering effect with it which i currently experimenting on now, looks quite good i'm not a pro modeller but i do just touch up my gundam but no to the the extend of paiting it fully |
