QUOTE(sorcecold @ Dec 23 2006, 10:44 AM) suddent so many new MG gundam release I enjoy the process of buildingafter 1/100 IJ i plan to build my 2ND GUNDAM if MG ady hv that much parts then i think PG will even worst? so more parts then enjoy more I'll say a model is hard to build under such conditions: 1) Manual is not clear, need to be very careful not to cut the wrong parts or snap to the wrong location 2) All the cut marks are located in a very obvious place which you need extra work to get rid of it 3) Parts are small & easy to break So far MG kits don't have the problems I've mentioned above (except F91 need to becareful since the parts are small) Just that you need longer time to get it done Building models need patience the more efforts you've gave to it then you'll feel larger satisfication after you've finished it This post has been edited by whoami123: Dec 23 2006, 11:26 AM |

Mr. Surfacer is only use if you plan to paint your kits
it serve as a layer of putty to fill small gaps & holes & it allows paint to stick better on the model surface and it's GREY / WHITE in color, do note that if you just plan to make your model don't have plastic feel just spray Topcoat on it if you don't plan to paint it |

Topcoat is like a protective layer for your model Flat Topcoat is hard to find now since demand is high for it You can try TM, or the hobby shop in City Square Ampang (opposite Ampang Park) I'm not sure Minniature Hobby in PJ now still got sell Topcoat / Super Clear or not MH used to sell it last time when it's still in Mid Valley cajun2de: It's at Berjaya Timesquare 7th floor |

QUOTE(Fasap @ Jan 6 2007, 09:17 PM) Yup.. indeed.. seems XL isnt stocking up on new SRW kits oso.. mystery.. RM 245? Not badanyways, i bought my Boxer for RM245 after Discount. before it was RM265 I think I've to wait for Derrick in the shop then only go to bargain for price I tried to bargain with the uncle before also & he doesn't want to give me discount I also wonder why XL didn't bring in the Huckebein Boxer & Mk. Weird then, why XL get SRW kits so slow? Maybe the market for it is not big in Malaysia I always see TM has a lot of stock for SRW kits Anyway, I won't buy Mk. III Boxer so soon still have a lot of kits not yet build Foxngn: I didn't see TM got any MG Char's Dom yesterday maybe they hide it I only saw MG Char's Z'Gok at RM 118 |
