v2 go deeper(more vibrate area,more air) while v3 is harder(less vibrate area,less air).......v3 will be more punchy than v2...so it depend on u...if i were u,  i will get the v2 for the wiring options and the deep bass.....but if u like harder bass than v2, then u should get v3 since the rated power are 300w for the only 1 voice coil...needless to say it's more powerful for hard punchy bass......(punchy and punchier are compare within this 2 sub only)

as a conclusion from my opinion, v2 is like usa sPL sub which are good in low freq, while v3 is like malaysia spl sub which is good for higher freq...

this is wat i understand from my experience and the spec shown....if wanna flame, then........

if ur woofer is 4ohm DVC.. then it will b either 2 ohm or 8ohm.. o u use 1(4ohm) channel to hit a vc and another (4ohm)channel for the other vc..

do not use any amp that is not written 2ohm stable for a 4ohm dvc woofer.. it will over load the amp and go down to a spoilt amp (especially when u on it loud and a long time of period)..

i've done some survey b4 buying an amp for my woofer.. i've used a 2 channel amp and ended up @ my installer asking for model..

what i haf found from my survey is.. (not all but most of 'em)
monoblock=2ohm stable
2channel=1ohm stable
(not considering those cap ayam amp)

hmmm.. ha! ha!.. should b larhh..

my amp was a korean made 2ch amp.. went dead less than 3 months.. then i've changed 2 an alpine monoblock..

maybe my woofer needs more power due to it's in a sealed box and in a 1.25cuft box.. i think it would haf no problem if it was driving in a ported box..

it is juz a precaution larhh.. play safe is always better.. tongue.gif

if woofer power needed > amp power output, nth spoil..
if amp power output > woofer only woofer spoil

the first scenario will spoil the amp only if u wrongly tune the amp gain or incorrectly connect the amp to lower ohm than the amplifier can accept......
