if i remember correctly the 3yrs extended warranty about 400-500; and that still be ~300-400 cheaper than this offer (6299). also this promotion which is only cover 1 yrs extended warranty. Smart marketing better to call in as a trade off instead of promotion. anyway, street shop is good for cash buyer and sony retail is good for 0% installment, fair enough

ya, i understand your point buying at street shop. always have to ask them take a set that never open (completely sealed); they can give whatever reason it is, but the is up to us to get what we want. if A no good, go B, if B no good , go C and so on. Still have many shoppers looking for business, just matter of small or big margin they earn

From the past i wish to buy from sony retail, but their prices just turn me down but weird i saw sometime US/Aus sony retail did very attractive promotion with included adapter for very very attractive prices. never could happen at here haha

28mm f2 is NOT G lens

I watch people feedbacks, this is overprice/performance lens. although it was good range versatility lens. But as i was truely addicted bokehlicious, F4 seem not enough, f2.8 is real realm somemore if with IBIS, i dont think need OSS on the lens even at 70mm focal length. Now i start feel the pain as others did when want to find a cheap ff portrait prime lens for emount (28mm-35mm), really dont have much choice ==" currently lenses are so pricey and or it just available in apsc.

albnok, is there any formula to understand how big actual FOV for 35mm lens w/ff body if a group of people (object) is about 9 feets away from camera? I wonder if these people stand from left to right, the FOV cover area (left to right) will be how many feet...

I known A7s XAVC S do have 120P but knowing IBIS was really a BIG BIG deal, everyone looks for upcoming 7rII or 7sII w/IBIS. So, current 7s lack of IBIS, quite pricey as well for this body ==" will not consider 7s.

I still kept the 16GB SDHC 90MB/s, i think it is still sufficient for 120P. hopefully.

that memory card is quite dirty approach push for storage media i checked the SDXC, speed is similar

-24/28/35 large aperture 1.4 (MF also ok, so can shoot indoor)
-2 in my mind so far: samyang 35 1.4 (cons: really big lens, question on resale market if switch to AF later) and noktor 40 f1.2 (cons: not enough wide for indoor)

i got tamron sp90 f2.8 and hvl-43am; i just do not want to step on the adapter and grab tamron 17-50 f2.8, i think resale 17-50 f2.8 have no market (sony alr have 16-50 ssm f2.8 too) and adapter cause more bulky besides the addition money for adapter, and more weight to entire system although gain versatility.
