With 5 axis stabilization , handheld can be lower than 1/2 secs ?

Any other 3rd party adapter for FE e-mount with AF for sony beside LA-EA4?

JPG only, I'm shooting in Manual. Anyway, the file size won't be of so huge different that the write time is almost 3 times different right? Not to say that I actually taken less shot when tested with the given card. Hand not accurate enough to stop holding on to the shutter after the same number of shot. Blame that 11fps
Yes I know that for low end card only read speed is advertised but they must also fulfil at least the rated class (Class 10 for ex.) right?

I don't have tools to measure their actual write speed but seriously the cheap Evo simply outperform the free card, significantly!

Even my class 4 micro sd feels faster than the Sony card What's wrong? Time to dump the free card.

Same Sony A6000 la... Shooting same subject similar lighting similar exposure settings.

Deviation also at most 1~2MB right?
Actually I don't use burst much. Getting faster card mainly for the single shot buffer clearing time.

Sony disallow us to change setting or go into playback while the card is still writing (clearing buffer).

With the free card, sometimes I have to wait for 1~2 second before I can get into playback. The other day I just put in the Class 4 4GB microsd + adaptor and I immediately noticed the difference. After that I bought the Samsung and yes it's very similar. That means it's just the Sony is doing weird. One photo at max 7MB yet it can't get it cleared as soon as the picture is taken? I doubt it even fulfil the Class 10 rating.

Done a rough test (count by heart test ) on my Sony free 16GB Class 10 UHS-1 40MB/s card and my new Samsung Evo MicroSD 16GB Class 10 UHS-1 48MB/s card.
Take note... Count by heart...

On Samsung, 24 shots burst took ~9 seconds to clear (till red light off)
On Sony, 22 shots burst took ~30 seconds to clear (till red light off)

How can it be such a huge difference on similarly rated card?

BTW, apparently MB/s and mbps is totally different. Megabytes and megabits. I don't even wanna go there but IINM 30MB/s = 240mbps. Funny right?

But yeah, like I said, just get from reputable brands (that make their own chips especially) that actually give you write and read speed ratings and you'l be fine lol. Reviews help too, and penny pinching usually doesn't pay much when it comes to getting decent cards.

And yeah, it's a free card. And even if Sony is a good brand name in general, they're not really well known for good SD cards. Even their 90mb/s card aren't as fast as my similarly specced Toshie.
