QUOTE(Celestia @ Sep 15 2015, 10:29 AM)
Do most of you take photos in 3:2 or 16:9?

I shoot in Fine and haven't gotten learning post-processing yet, so wondering which of the 2 is better?
*
I shoot exclusively at 16:9, it will affect your composition when you are framing in the scene. Shoot raw, you can still recover the "cropped" top and bottom portion in post processing.

Some new spams for today:

Shooting near a beach, has to push the dynamic range in single exposure:

Conceptual image based on artwork:

Used 2 photos for portrait and hair flipping, another shot for bicycle, and one moon shoot from my own stock galleries.

Turned an older landscape photo to simulate infrared shots:

Using a very old Tokina 35-105mm f/3.5 RMC macro lens I received from my dad.
A zoom lens that has fixed aperture and extra feature to switch to macro mode for even closer focus at 35mm.

Shot near beach, this is as much I could recover from the extreme highlights and dark shadow from single exposure, but minute details are gone, ambiance light only.

Ambient light only right? You need flashguns boss. Lots of flashguns.

The tiny Meike mk320 should be enough, but you'll need like 4-5 of them in wireless slave mode lol. Thankfully they're cheap AND work in TTL on camera too.

Or you can bracket, though you'll need a VERY cooperative model to bracket the range needed for that kind of shot.

That said, great work pulling the highlights.

Yeap, I do have, but without helper at that spot and no space for modifier I resorted back to natural light only.

Understandable. Get a few Zipshots as lightstands, they're small, light and are quick to deploy. That might help.

Processed in Photoshop I take it?

Processed with LR mostly. Dont know much with PS.
