QUOTE(Gurvin Abruzzi @ Jan 8 2015, 12:50 PM) Tempered only 2 layers. Yeah, I have a problem removing the final layer which is the one after we applied the glass to the screen. Maybe I need to use knife or something to peel it off. Remove bottom, then stick. Plastic 3 layers. Remove bottom and stick, then remove top. Nice mirror glass there |

QUOTE(Patt_Hup @ Jan 9 2015, 01:29 PM) For a good cheap deal, Lazada can offer you good price if you check it often. I got mine for RM1019 for the 64GB model. The problem is we just get only 14 days warranty. (to return if there is problem with your item) Until now I'm satisfy with my purchase because I got a fresh not opened box from them and sealed so I should have not facing any problems unless it's a factory defects. So check it within 14 days. |

QUOTE(lukeroku @ Jan 13 2015, 04:32 PM) I bought it at lowyat. I forgot the name of the store. The package include both items for RM31. The green one is OTG with female usb slot. So, its universal to connect other things. The best thing is that the OTG include with the 16GB thumbdrive. I assume that its a bonus deal. |

QUOTE(faridz7 @ Jan 14 2015, 12:44 PM) hey guys, iphone user here by the way thinking of trying an android phone, the iphone is my first smartphone so i dont have any experience with an android phone. Its between the one plus one or the g3 ! I am just the same as you. I just got my first android phone, which is Oneplus One I suggest you to get a phone that has stock android experience. In example, the One of course, Nexus devices. But if you prefer either G3 and One, I think G3 wins. Just my personal opinion. |

QUOTE(faridz7 @ Jan 14 2015, 01:07 PM) thanks for the replies guys..i'm still using my iphone 4s The One just lack of OIS. It took good pictures IMO. It need a steady hands (or just use tripod Yup somehow the iphone's camera sensor is better in general compared to the android phones but I was looking at that oneplus forum thread where the user posts his photos taken with his 1plus and the photos were pretty awesome @evanrue : ive been thinking of the g3 but raelly wary of the UI lag or any lag for that matter..coming from an iphone where as you know there arent many lags or none at all since it cant be customized and all that...no offence guys, ive never used an android phone at all so I dont know but i keep hearing/reading the reviews on the UI lag..it differs for so many ppl, been reading all sorts of reviews, some rave about the battery, some complain...wah damn pening lol |

QUOTE(Riggo @ Jan 14 2015, 11:53 PM) Depending on whether your source still has the old stock with the cyanogen logo, and you might be lucky to get that. My phone was built on 26th December, ordered on 31st December, thus no logo on the back. But not a big deal for me tho as long as the phone works without any issues encountered by users who bought it much earlier. They did it probably because otherwise they wouldn't be able to sell the global version with the logo in India. Lol I just ordered a style swap cover with a logo at the back and there is sellers selling those.Time to go back to Android after being away for years. The reason why I switched to ios is that Android at that time was still in premature stage (unstable rom and the hardware at that time could not really handle android well) but now it's the right time for Android to shine with all the monstrous hardware, no longer a bottleneck to the software. Styleswap covers have no logo as well. |

QUOTE(Chyan @ Jan 16 2015, 12:07 AM) It got stuck when I unlocked it during flashing. Must be a problem. Can flash Unofficial Temasek's devs version. Thanks for the reply. One question, what is the meaning of that "keep awake only" on your codes ? i.e : Contacts (keep awake only). so I need to denied the keep awake only or allowed just that?https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=19646 It's great here. Always on LTE and H+. That's your camera and media server accesses local media files from your "SD" memory for playback. The only reason it seems so high is because all you've done is played music/videos/etc. CODE Go to Settings/Privacy/Privacy Guard Tap onto 3 dots > advanced > Disable Wake Up + Keep Awake + Auto Start permission for below system app: -Google Play Services -Google Services Framework -Contacts (Keep Awake only) -Location Services (Keep Awake & Auto Start only) -Google Search -cLock -News & Weather (Keep Awake only) -Gallery (Keep Awake & Auto Start only) -Phone (Wake Up & Keep Awake only, DO NOT disable Auto Start) (This saves you from RILJ wakelock) -Calendar & Calendar Storage (Keep Awake & Wake Up only) The above apps i mentioned is the critical item that do have affect on your background services, even-though you disable some of their permission but still they work fine if you need them, nothing breaks i can assure you, as ive done extensive test with all those permission in Privacy Guard. There are some other apps you can alter the permission but its up to you, like Hangouts & Hangouts Dialer is a battery sucker, so take note that you can disable their permission too if you not using it, i never highlighted those because its your choice. And after you finishes installing ALL your apps from Playstore/Backup, proceed back to Privacy Guard, disable some permission (of your installed apps) which you dont require them to do. Like Facebook/Instagram/Twitter, i disable the Keep Awake & Wake Up & Auto Start. But some of you might think it'll breaks notification so it's up to you. |

QUOTE(kllam @ Jan 16 2015, 12:34 AM) This is a bug for kit kat, i had this qcamera problem on my N5 3 times, the 1st and 2nd time i reboot the phone. When the 3rd, i did a factory reset and that solve it For a reason, I don't want to screw up my device because I'm a total newbie to Android. Does factory reset will wipe all data such as photos, videos, songs ? |
