Morning guys. I have some questions/rants as a new user who migrated from Android. Please do share if you have a solution for the following gripes:

1. Why is it so hard to share pictures from Safari/Chrome to WhatsApp? On Android, I could long-press the picture and a menu would pop up allowing me to share directly to WhatsApp. On iOS I can't seem to find an equivalent action.  I tried using the share button on the toolbar, and even then there's no extention for WhatsApp (yet Viber has one). I've now resorted to saving the picture then sharing it from inside WhatsApp. doh.gif

2. SwiftKey for iOS sucks! The Android version was freaking awesome, and most of the nice stuff hasn't been carried over. There's no support for Malay, and even the "tap spacebar to insert prediction" feature has been replaced with the iOS standard "double tap to insert period". To make things worse, 3rd-party keyboards are automatically disabled in password fields, causing it to switch back to the default keyboard whenever a password is required. shakehead.gif

3. I find double-click for task switching and double-tap for Reachability a bit annoying. It would be nice if I could double-tap to open the task switcher, at least then I wouldn't feel so guilty about wrecking the home button in record time. A friend of mine who's using a 4S told me that the home button tends to get damaged easily, and recommended that I use the little floating box that's part of assisted touch. I'm doing that now, but I often find myself unconsciously double-clicking the home screen as it's the more natural action. sweat.gif

No. 1, that is how iOS works I guess. I hate that it's inconsistent. Sometimes I can share to WhatsApp sometimes I can't. It varies with the app I use. Editing photos is a pain in the arse if you use multiple apps. You'll have duplicate photos in your gallery and you have to manually delete them. No. 2 , SwiftKey just started. Yeah there's no option for Malay and I think if there were, there is no support for simultaneous languages and No. 3 is fixable by jailbreaking I guess, then installing a tweak. Do you value warranty or your home button? Pick your poison xD

1Gb gam will affect on multitasking, not really on the lag issue. However, on ip6+ you will see some sluggishness here and there when you turning between landscape and portrait (not just turning around on homescreen, what I mean is turning when exiting the apps). And also surfing on website, you might see some website rather scale up, make the scrolling like a bit cacat. Just my 2 cents anyway.  smile.gif

and that measly 1GB RAM can't handle CIMB Desktop website. It either crashes safari or restart entirely which is stupid.

I really feel like the 1GB RAM is holding back on the 6+. Try opening CIMB desktop website on iPhone 6+. You can't do it without crashing the safari. Open it on iPhone 6/5S it opens fine.

Shouldn't it make a clicking sound?

yeah same here, when I was on android it instantly appears..maybe its the optimisation for the app accommodating ios spec. hehe

One of the things I miss on Android. When you get a notification that message is actually already downloaded into the phone. Unlike iOS, if you have a notification, you need to download the actual message when you open the app. (always happens when I have slow connections. I get the notification, open the app, nada then connecting...)

who is going to buy the new apple watch? Im definitely to buy one... Its the era for smartwatch

Not going to since there's absolutely no need. The starting price is just too much for something that depends on something else. Paying for an accessory at a price aimed at devices.

How is iOS 8.2 on the iPhone 6+? Can access CIMB desktop without crashing?
