Yes its better try to restore. I have the battery drain problem few days ago where my iphone6 become warm when browsing with safari which leads to severe battery drain. No problem with ios 8.1.1. Very weird problem as it is very sudden. Restore 8.1.2 and so far its become normal. My wife iphone 5s with ios 8.1 also have the same problem which leads to restoring to ios 8.1.2. Luckily 8.1.2 is jailbreakable, if not that would made me very upset. I suspect its somehow got to do with ios 8 bugs since i can see the cpu process is not normal during idle which should be less than 15% (using lirum app).

Tried restarting, soft reset but still the problem persist. Restoring seems to solve the problems. smile.gif

My record so far is 12hr with 40% battery life. Which is not bad considering I'm a moderate to heavy user.

When battery drain does your phone get hot? Yes I am using free my apps and no problem with it.
